Letizia Filippi: Cristiano Ronaldo Amorinho

Italian TV star Letizia Filippi, the latest on the long list of CR7 women says that he only has eyes for her. Awww. I wonder how long before his eyes strays?

23-year old Cristiano and 30-year old Letizia began dating last July 2008 shortly, and I really mean shortly after he split with Nereida Gallardo.

In an exclusive interview with Italian Max Magazine, Letizia was described as the new love and special someone of Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo and hopefully, on her part, his last. She also took a potshot against Niki Ghazian, the girl who told everyone that she had sex with CR7. Letizia, who was annoyed at this said that it was not true. She said that there are some people who will say anything to become famous and gain something.  

“I don’t need to talk about these things. I don’t need anything. I have my life, my work and I’m happy. What that girl did only showed that she did not respect Ronaldo and herself as well.”

Letizia also denied that she was the cause of the Nereida-Cristiano break up:

“When i met Cristiano in Capri he told me that and he and Nereida have broken up for a week. When they left Sardinia. So when he arrived in Capri, he was single.”

They had their first kiss in Capri while they were taking a walk. CR7, despite being surrounded by a lot of people has managed to find a little time for this. So when asked if she was his girlfriend now:

“No, not his girlfriend. But we’re together and there’s this feeling between us. I went to LA for him. I think there’s a love story here but to call me his girlfriend is exaggerated. Girlfriend is such a big word.”

The time they spent in LA was cut short because Letizia went back to Italy because of the pain she’s suffering from her tooth. She doesn’t trust american dentist that’s why she rushed back home.

And now that the football season has began and both of them so busy from their respective work, they communicated by sending 2 or 3 messages a day, hot messages by the way. And for her that’s normal. But they will be seeing each other soon, away from the paparrazzi as much as possible. When asked how to describe Ronaldo, she said:

“He is adorable, funny, young. We bond together, we have fun. He calls me his amorinho and i call him baby, but he doesn’t want to be called that.”  Amorinho means little love in portuguese.

One intriguing revelation that was said during the interview is that Letizia do not know the number of Ronaldo’s jersey. But she sure knows one thing -  his weekly salary. She justified this by saying that she’s been reading about it in the tabloids. (Maybe Ronaldo hasn’t gifted her yet with the R7 diamonds earrings)

Another interesting thing is she doesn’t know what a WAG is and she is one now. She said she never heard of it. Maybe she never came across it in the tabloids she’s been reading, she just saw the pounds signs. (Sigh)

Letizia was also asked by British tabloids to pose topless with Ronaldo but she refused. They offered her 20,000 pounds. Should have up the ante. Anyway the pose she made for Max magazine showed that they paid much more for her.

We thought we’ve heard all about Nereida Gallardo but this time she came back with a vengeance and spoke about her relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo in a recent interview.

Branding him a coward and a “Mama’s Boy”, Nereida was very much upset on the way CRon7 ended up things between them and thru text messaging, mind you. (gasp!), How very cowardly of him. She also insist that Mama Dolores is to blame too. She saw how CR7 is being manipulated by his mother and how very protective she is to him. Also, there were some problems with Cristiano’s family as they are jealous of their relationship. Nereida went on to say that Mama Dolores never called her to sort things out between them.

Cristiano and Ronaldo met last January and Nereida gushed on to say that they have sex  the first night they met in her city of Majorca. “”He is very good in bed. That’s why I was with him,” she said. She said that Cristiano is very generous and gifted her with designer handbags, Armani belt, and if rumor is to be believe a Mercedes.

She was also furious that Ronaldo believed that she slept with Real Madrid Defender Sergio Ramos, they were just friends. Nereida believed that Ronaldo was not faithful during their relationship while she was faithful all the time. She found text messages which she found incriminating. The relationship goes downhill when Ronaldo went to LA and his “sexploits” was bandied about in the tabloids and then the text message that she was being dumped.

At least Nereida confirmed that there was never any truth in the rumour that Ronaldo promised her marriage if Manchester United won the Champions League.

The inauguration of his store in Lisbon on Tuesday, October 7 was attended by his family and some good friends including the famous “Floribela” in Portugal, his rumored girlfriend of last year – Ms. Luciana Abreu. Although rumours of their love affair was the main topic of last year, Luciana has denied the big rumour and insist there was nothing between her and Ronaldo at all. A fact that sadenned  Cristiano’s mother Dolores Aveiro. It was widely circulated in Portuguese Press that Mama Dolores wholeheartedly approved of Luciana and this is the type of girls she wants Ronaldo to be dating. I was watching the delayed telecast of World Cup Qualifier last Saturday between France and Romania and i was still trying to wake myself from the boring England-Kazakhstan game, they seem so uncoordinated and stuttering, they were lucky to have 5 goals against Kazakhstan 1. Yeah i know i’m being bitchy. Well enough about them. I discovered one football hottie during the France-Romania game, and no i’m not talking about Adrian Mutu. I was captivated by this guy who was singing their national anthem and i tried to remember that his jersey number is 14 and then i saw the name Gourcuff. The name is kind of familiar, i know i’ve read about him somewhere and then i remember the Kickette.com article. He was the guy with the impossibly long eyelashes. Such gorgeous eyes… I’m calling him Gorgeous Gourcuff.

The English Fans should be very ashamed of themselves. That is not the way to support your country. Yeah, i know it’s been decades and decades since your last football glory and you badly want them to win but if you want England to win just be there to support and not booed your countryman on the field. You are not the one playing on the field and if you’re that great and know more about the game then how come you are watching and Ashley Cole is the one playing?  Everybody makes mistake even that Kazakhstan guy who gave an OG, its just lucky there were few Kazakhstan spectators at Wembley. Rio Ferdinand was right when he said how disappointing it was that the crowd booed Cole. “When any player makes a mistake all you want to do is get behind them and gee them up so with the next touch he gets his confidence back and plays himself back into the game.”  And that’s your Captain speaking.

Twilight Third Trailer: Spoiler Alert!

Cristiano Ronaldo: Clear Favourite for Ballon D’Or

Manchester United and Portugal’s very own winger Cristiano Ronaldo is betted to be the clear winner in this December 2, 2008 Ballon d’Or ceremony, that’s is if Sir Alex Ferguson have anything to do about it. What Ronaldo did for Manchester United as well as the Champion’s League should be credited and he will be very surprised if CR7 will not get it. Sir Alex further said that he will personally sign to his team the winner of Ballon d’Or if its not Ronaldo. I wish it was Messi, i really really wanna see him play in the Premier League… Just kidding.

Don’t look now but someone has been impersonating Cristiano Ronaldo. (As if there’s still enough space in this world for another vain Cristiano Ronaldo.) And mind, he uses this likeness to trick girls to go to bed with him.

According to The People, Jamie Wright of Eastbourne has gotten his impersonation of the famous Manchester United winger down to pat, especially in tricking girls, as he uses a fake portuguese accent, chatting to girls about his “old mates” like David Beckham and whisking the girls to fancy hotels the likes of which CR7 would normally stay in. He even connived with hotel with his trickery. He said:

“One time I was in the Hilton in London and I took a girl back there who thought I was Ronaldo. The hotel puts your initials on the soap and for some reason they had put CR so that helped.”

But this professional look a like who earns £800 a day has a kind heart as he tells the girl the truth the next morning that he’s not really Ronaldo. Kind? yeah right. And pity to those girls who were conned into thinking that they have a one night stand with CR7. Maybe they should find the real one as he is not averse to this kind of thing. And maybe, maybe Real Madrid would finally get their chance on getting Ronaldo, albeit he’s only a look a like. Har har.

Newcastle United skipper and captain Michael Owen is Carling’s Cup Player of the Month for September as he was voted by 68 percent of the fans. Owen scored three goals in 4 games and he bested teammates Shay Given, Charles N’Zogbia, Sebastien Bassong and Fabricio Coloccini. It has been a tough month for Newcastle and Michael Owen who is still out because of a groin injury. As expected Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United winger, has been named FifPro World Footballer of the Year. He was also a member of the FifPro team-of-the-year line-up which includes five of the Spanish stars who won the 2008 European Championship. A Night of Historical Football Records

I am honored to say that I watched two of the historical games of Premier League last Saturday and I’m in awe, seriously. Sunderland has finally, FINALLY beat their arch-rival Newcastle United at home for the FIRST TIME in 28 YEARS.  And the Stan Cummins curse has been lifted. Sunderland hit man Michael Chopra who used to be a Newcastle said:  “It’s been 28 years since Sunderland beat Newcastle on Wearside and if ever there is a time to beat Newcastle, the time is now because of everything that has been going on up there.” Seriously Keano’s Sunderland is a different club right now. Imagine this is also the team that had not won at Tottenham for 30 years until August.

On the other hand, Liverpool ended Chelsea’s 4 year unbeaten home run. It was an exciting game and a nail-biting one and when  Alonso struck in the ninth minute when his 20-yard shot deflected off Jose Bosingwa and left Petr Cech wrong-footed and voila, GOAL! I was jumping up and down by then and my mother scolded me saying I am not at Stamford to wildly cheer like that, her words not mine. It was Chelsea’s first defeat under Scolari but Liverpool were always in charge of a pulsating contest at Stamford Bridge and look real title contenders on this form. But Steven Gerrard served a reminder that Liverpool had achieved nothing yet. “To win this league and become champions you have to handle the pressure of being at the top,” he said. “That’s the challenge now.” Ooh. Ease up Stevie; I have a real good feeling at this one. Go, Liverpool.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Highest Paid EPL Player?

In an effort to thwart the Real Madrid from getting Cristiano Ronaldo to their clutches, Manchester United is willing to put CR7 to a deal worth £150,000 a week. Wow. If this is true, he will become the highest paid English Premier League player. Ronaldo still have a three year left on his current contract  but a FIFA contract allows him to buy himself out of his contract at the end of next season. As Sir Alex said in the DailyMail reports: “‘Next summer will be a key element of his contract situation – he will have three years left then and we are comfortable enough with that position. Nobody has ever brought themselves out of a contract and I think the big clubs would shy away from that because it could happen to them. I don’t think it will be an issue.’

Liverpool Striker Fernando Torres is 70 percent fit to play against his former club Atletico Madrid if Rafa Benitez wish will come true. But it isnt only Rafa’s fervent hope, everyone wanted to see Torres play against Atletico. And he has lots of fans in both sides in this highly anticipated Champions League match. According to the Sun, Benitez said that “Torres is 70 per cent fit after a hamstring injury and we can expect him to be featured at Anfield.” Torres, who missed their first encounter after an injury during the World Cup qualifier is keen on facing his former club. Furthermore the Sun said “Atletico Madrid was his first club and now he is with Liverpool — two big clubs with lots of fans who love him, so this is massive for him.”  We’re keeping our fingers crossed on this too.

Although Fernando Torres was 70 percent fit to play against his former club Atletico Madrid, he was back on the sideline as he felt it was not right for him to play that day although he has been into training. Hopefully he will be set to play this coming Saturday. We badly need his goals and it isn’t really fair that Steven Gerrard is doing all the job for Liverpool.

Nereida Gallardo is still bitter over Cristiano Ronaldo

Nereida Gallardo strikes again. The ex-lover of Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is talking to the tabloids again and dishing out CR7 tidbits. We already know how vain our Ronaldo is aside from being a ho-lover, it seems, his vanity knows no bounds according to the girl-who-was-dumped-via-text-message.

Nereida said, in an interview with News of the World, that CR7 has a beauty regimen to keep his body hair-free and would even use a hair removal cream to be soft all over. He also have tubs of moisturisers to coat his body twice a day. She also revealed that the Number 7 can be seen all over his place and that his house is full of mirrors so that he could look at himself and play with his hair whenever he passes a mirror. And now we know why CR7 hair looks that way eventhough he has curly hairs, he uses hair straighteners!

Nereida is also bitter over Mama Dolores who Ronaldo calls to seek advice about his lovelife. “He phones her every day. I wouldn’t be surprised if his next girlfriend is chosen by her Mum”.

Well, Nereida should be thankful that she and the coward has parted ways and should have realised earlier that Ronaldo can only be in love with – HIMSELF.

He fell, but landed in some bushes. So, I got the refrigerator and pushed it over the balcony and it crushed him. The strain of the act gave me a heart attack, and I died.” 

St. Peter couldn’t deny that this was a pretty bad day, and since it was a crime of passion, he let the man in. 

He then asked the next man in line about the day he died. “Well, sir, it was awful,” said the second man. “I was doing aerobics on the balcony of my 26th floor apartment when I twisted my ankle and slipped over the edge. I managed to grab the balcony of the apartment below, but some maniac came out and started pounding on my fingers with a hammer. Luckily I landed in some bushes. But, then the guy dropped a refrigerator on me!” 

St. Peter chuckled, let him into heaven and decided he could really start to enjoy this job. 

“Tell me about the day you died?”, he said to the third man in line.

In a few hours, Portugal and Brazil friendly will take place in Bezerrao stadium in Brazil and will bring together two of the best players in the football world – Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. Yeah, what a face off. It’s TWILIGHT Time!

Finally November 21, 2008 is here and TWILIGHT is finally at a theatre near you. I get goose bumps just thinking that this is going to be massive and everyone will be caught with a vampire bug. A lot of people now expect Twilight to take $70m (£47m) in a blockbuster opening weekend that will turn it into the biggest new release since The Dark Knight, creating one of the most successful series of teenage films of all time. I wonder how those executives over at MTV films, Fox, and Paramount Pictures feels right now? They may be wishing that vampire is real and would gladly have their neck bitten over their idiocy for turning it down. And more good news is that fandango.com have been selling five Twilight tickets per second on opening day and reporting that they sold out of 1,000 midnight shows Thursday and reports that the PG-13 romance has become their #3 Advance Ticket Seller, ahead of all Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Pirates movies and trailing only The Dark Knight and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  And I’m not reading any movie reviews, it’s enough for me that Stephenie Meyer loves it.

I know its old news but have you heard that this MLS player has quit football to follow his calling to become a priest?  Chase Hilgenbrinck, defender for the New England Revolution, said in a press statement: “After years of discernment, I feel strongly that the Lord has called me to become a priest in the Catholic Church. Playing professional football/soccer has been my passion for a long time and I feel blessed to have successfully lived out this dream. My passion now is to do the will of God, which is wanting only what He wants for me. Though I will miss the game of soccer, I know that I am moving on to something much greater.”

Chase, 26 years old, has been the captain for the New England Revolution on  numerous occasions. He will attend St Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland and train for six years before his ordination.

Twilight Grossed 70.5 in its Opening Weekend

Vampiremania invades the cinema. Twilight debuted in USA at No.1 this weekend with a gross of 70.5 million dollars, proving right the estimates made before it was shown. The movie was budgeted at 38 millin dollars and news have it that the sequel is under way. Congratulations to Stepehenie Meyer and the movie casts especially to Robert Pattinson, the new breakout star of the year.

Fernando Torres Says Cristiano Ronaldo is Incomparable

My favorite Liverpool and Spanish striker Fernando Torres has nothing but high praises for Cristiano Ronaldo.  In an interview with France Football, Torres said that no one can rival Ronaldo as he is in a class of his own. Torres further said that he has never seen an incomparable player as Cristiano Ronaldo.

CR7 is hotly tipped to bag the FIFA World Player of the Year award after the Portuguese winger hit 42 goals for Man United last season.  However, Torres is in no doubt as to who should win the award, after all he won the Champion’s League, Premier League and the Golden Boot.

On the other hand, Sir Alex has staunchly defended Cristiano for reacting to the abuse dished out to him by Stoke City and Aston Villa fans. Ferguson was quoted as saying: “I wonder how many people would take it when they are walking down the street and so many people keep hitting you over the head with a baton. How many times can you take it?

“Show me someone who likes getting abused; can you point him out to me? A great player is a target for visiting fans but it’s not a problem for him,” he added.

Brace yourself twilighters: The Twilight Official Guide, supposed to be released on December 30, 2008 is move to sometime in 2009. That long??? I can hear your heartfelt disappointment, i know. Me too. But then according to Little Brown, the publisher of Stephenie Meyer’s, the move was due to gathering of more additional resources. They said: “As the only official guide about the Twilight Saga, we want to make this edition as special as possible. Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the States.

Yesterday the photocall for the “Iker vs Rafa 2008” fundraising match against malaria was held at the Real Cafe Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain.  The charity event will benefit impoverished countries under the auspicies of the Spanish Red Cross. Raising awareness of the disease is crucial as it is responsible for a million deaths per year, and the most vulnerable sectors are children under 5, nursing mothers and AID’s sufferers. Somehow Real Madrid Keeper Iker Casillas and World’s No. 1 Rafa Nadal wanted to free the world of malaria. They have realized that its toll is even more tragic because the disease itself is highly treatable and preventable.

The event will take place on December 16, 2008, three days after the face-off between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou. Everyone knows that Rafa is a staunch Real Madrid fan and both he and Iker is convinced, suddenly becoming a pundit, that it’s going to be 1-0 in favor of Real Madrid, but of course. (And I will be praying…)

“Iker vs Rafa 2008” event will involve both tennis and football, and as an extra treat, a bit of karting action. So far only F1 driver Fernando Alonso is definite to take part in said event. As in the past, the idea was for each player to challenge the other at his own sport. For sure this will be something amusing and different and watching these two and their friends will be a treat and will be worth it. This early the two are taking potshot at each other: “Rafa has a good pair of feet but he does not have the vision,” quipped the Real Madrid goalkeeper before Nadal responded with: “Iker could do with some tennis lessons, I would even give them for free if he wanted. France Football has just confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as the Best Player in the World as he bagged the Ballon D’Or beating Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Liverpool Fernando Torres. The award was confirmed earlier today. France Football Magazine present the trophy based on a poll of 96 top journalists. CR7 have a stellar 42-goal season with Manchester United, netting his second Premier League crown and the Champions League last May. Being proclaimed the best in the world is an honor indeed as he was voted by 77 of the 96 writers as their number one player in this year’s poll. In the past, Ballon D’Or is only given to Europe’s best player, but it has been expanded to include players from all over the world. Each voter names five players on their final ballot, awarding five points to their first choice and one point to their fifth. CR7 was the only name to appear on each of the 96 ballots, polling 446 points out of a maximum 480. Wow what a great year indeed, I just pray that his performance gets better after this and not the mediocre ones we’ve been watching in this past months.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been accussed of wrecking millionaire’s John Haynes marriage to Ukranian Olena (Alyona) Haynes. Although the couple has long been estranged since September 13, 2008, Haynes was still devastated, betrayed and felt cheated on. He has filed for a divorce that will end their three years marriage. Haynes, who owns a cleaning firm, was already suspicious of his 25- year- old wife Olena, who by the way is the face of a website that finds Russian brides to lonely (and rich?) British men, and the worst was confirmed when he discovered more than 300 text messages between his wife and CR7, 49 of this was saved to Ronaldo’s name. Between a series of romantic dates and serial texting from our very dear CR7 they have grown closer and closer. Cristiano Ronaldo: The Text Stud Saga Continues…

It looks like millionaire John Haynes has changed his tune. After all the name-calling, i.e. slimy toe-rag; with an intelligence of a 7-year old, etc., Haynes is now blaming his wife in the brouhaha involving him, Alyona and Manchester United winger slash home-wrecker??? Cristiano Ronaldo. Even going as far as portraying her as the hunter, the deceiver and the two-timer.

He even implied that this is just one of the numerous times that they have been intimate. And now he’s just realizing that all this time Ally has been dangling him in case it didn’t work out with CR7.

However, the cleaning firm boss is positive that the relationship between Ally and CR7 will not last. Further saying that CR7 can have any ladies he likes and that Mama Dolores won’t let her loving son stick with the likes of her. Wow i hope the pundit in Mr. Haynes will manifest soon. Letizia, who denied that she was the cause of the CR7/Gallardo break up even went to LA to follow him after his ankle surgery. But  the affair seem to fizzle out when the Premier League started and/or this was the time that CR7 has met Alyona and has forgotten to text Letizia thus ending their affair. Filippi is said to be keen in rekindling her romance with our dear boy despite the fact that it has been all over the tabloids that CR7 is now dating a married woman. She believes that once CR7 sees his amorinho naked photos in a saucy calendar shoot he will finally realised what he is missing.

Jeff Hardy is the New WWE Champion

In what could have been a long time coming, Jeff Hardy has finally been handed his dream, the WWE Champion belt. It was a momentous event as even the announcers have kept quiet as Jeff Hardy takes in the moment and paid tribute to the fans who was cheering wildy for him and has been there all the way. After the show went off the air, Matt hardy has joined Jeff and hugged him. Then Triple H also went up and shook Jeff’s hand as well as hugged him. Congrats Jeff, i’m with you all the way. No matter what.

Hardy sends Edge to the opposite corner and Triple H back into Edge. Hardy jumps off the back of Triple H who fell down and took out Edge with a big flying side kick. Hardy sends Triple H into the corner who goes flying over the top rope. Hardy tried to springboard onto Triple H from the ring, but Edge catches Hardy and pulls him back down. Hardy then sends Edge over the top rope. Hardy springboards over the top rope and takes out Edge as Triple H walks away. Triple H with a big clothesline on Hardy. Hardy with chops and shots to Triple H. Triple H then sends Hardy into the guard railing. Edge kicks Triple H in the face as Triple H attempts to return to the ring. Edge pulls Triple H in and hits some right hands. Edge with some more shots to Triple H. Triple H fires back with some of his own.

Edge responds with a big boot taking Triple H down. Cover by Edge and Triple H kicks out after two. Triple H with a flying knee to Edge. Triple H dodges a clothesline from Edge and drops Edge with a reverse neckbreaker. Triple H with a big clothesline on Edge in the corner. Another clothesline in the corner on Edge by Triple H. Triple H attempts a Pedigree on Hardy, but Hardy counters and catapults Triple H into the corner. Hardy dropkicks Triple H in the chest holding onto the corner. Edge with a pulldown neckbreaker on Hardy. Edge covers Hardy and Hardy kicks out after two. Edge misses a Spear on Hardy who jumps over Edge and Edge hits Triple H with a Spear in the corner. Hardy sends Edge out of the ring. Hardy with a Twist of Fate on Triple H. Hardy goes up top, jumps and connects with the Swanton Bomb on Triple H. Edge is the only one left in the ring with Triple H and Jeff Hardy on the outside. Triple H rolls back in the ring. Edge pulls himself up as Triple H does as well. Edge with a Spear on Triple H. Edge hooks the leg on Triple H and Triple H kicks out after two. Edge can’t believe it and leaves the ring. Edge grabs two steel chairs and tosses them in the ring. Edge puts one chair under the head of Triple H and picks up the other one. Edge attempts a conchairto when Hardy pulls the chair back Edge had from the ring apron. Hardy cracks it over the head of Edge. Hardy goes up top and Triple H trips up Hardy crotching him on the top. Triple H with a Pedigree on Edge. Hardy comes flying off the top rope and connects with a Swanton Bomb over Edge. The force of the Swanton bumps Triple H out of the ring. Hardy covers Edge…1…2…3. Jeff Hardy has done it.

Cristiano Ronaldo is Vain

Yes, it’s confirmed, CR7 confesses that he is indeed vain. Admitting that he has undergone cosmetic things particularly fixing his crooked teeth and has wore braces for a few months to straighten his teeth. He also admits shaving his chest and would like to change his hairstyle. No wonder a lot of women has gone ga-ga over him, who wouldn;t like a guy who primps a lot? If only CR7 could find solace with his beauty regimen, then he could have played better  for Man United and not those crap shit he’s been showing us lately? He is so not Ballon D’Or worthy at this moment, imagine being involved in a series of altercations with opponents. He should focus on making goals and not perfecting his diving. He’s aced it already and he’s become a serial one in fact. Maybe a few days of stay in Portugal would do him a lot of good and then he could find that missing spark that has been sorely lacking in him.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Too Much Ado about Nothing

It seems Manchester United winger believe in the fact that if you often say it enough it will come across as true. CR7 has reiterated, again, that he is happy staying at Old Trafford and has pledged his future to ManU and Sir Alex Ferguson. So news about him being persistently bandied by Spanish media on his eventual move to Spanish giant Real Madrid at the end of this season was denied categorically by our dear Footballer of the year. CR7 is happy at present and he is thankful to the fans who always believed in him. And he owed allegiance to Sir Alex who was a crucial figure in his carrer. In an unofficial interview CR7 was quoted:  “ He’s (Sir Alex Ferguson) always helped me and I said to him, ‘I want to be part of this club with you. I want to win trophies with you.’ He’s very important in my career.” Take note and read between the lines, with you. Once Sir Alex retires, which many believe is  in the near future, I doubt CR7 will stay.

Release Date of The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide

I’ve been trying to surf the net on the official release date of The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, honestly i’ve been climbing the walls now what with all this waiting, har har. Although it is not confirmed yet, the 256 pages The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide set to be released on February 1, 2009 as touted by some internet bookstore is now going to be released on September 2009. OMG, its far far too long. Why? Why? Why? And then i saw this article and said that Amazon.ca  release date for the guide is December 2009!!! and they were planning to include The Midnight Sun from this guide that’s why it’s taking so long. What?!? I’m overreacting i know, but we’ve been waiting for so long now. The best they could do is to give us the date so that there will be end to all this speculations.

Cristiano Ronaldo Celebrates New Year With Family

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his New Year with his family and agent. He was staying at the Savoy Hotel in the Madeira Island off the coast of Portugal for a much needed R and R and of course to help celebrate his mother’s birthday on December 31. To those of you looking for his latest skank in the family picture you won’t find her or any evidence of her as Mama Dolores was there to stand watch. Anyway I hope that this few days of fun would do him a lot of good and as I said in my earlier blog would finally find that missing spark in him to bring back the CR7 that we know and won all those awards last year. Update:Cristiano Ronaldo Crashed His Ferrari

It could have ended differently but it turned out all right. Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo was shaken when he got out of his completely crushed Ferrari after he lost control of the car on the A538 Wilmslow Road, near Manchester Airport. The car spun on the side of the tunnel and then it impacted to cause it to lose a front wheel and then ricocheted off the wall and then crashed. Team mate Edwin Van der Sar was travelling behind CR7 car when it happened. The two, in separate cars, were on their way to training at United’s Carrington Complex. Police who started their inquiry is going to question Van Der Sar on the speed of CR7 driving.

It looks like CR7 was not able to handle the speed of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, a V12 engined car that can do a 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and it is hugely fast with sensational acceleration. He imported the car just two days ago from Portugal after spending his New Year there with family and agent. The front of the car was completely totalled and it was indeed a miracle that CR7 was unharmed. Thank goodness he still have a fleet of cars to drive.

Inquiries regarding the crash is continuing and it looks like the investigation will focus on the speed of CR7 driving as he gave a negative breath test when the officers arrived on the scene of the accident.

CR7 has reportedly told his family that his car, the Ferrari he bought last December 19 in Portugal, skidded on a moisture and oil on the road which cause the car to clipped a roadside barrier then bounced off a wall and then crashed. He said he was not to blame for the accident.  The crash left debris all over the road and the car windscreen was shattered, the left wing mirror was ripped off and the front totally demolished. Mama Dolores was said to be shocked of the accident but CR7 assured her that it was nothing more than a scare despite of the totalled condition of the car.

Cristiano Ronaldo No Longer Plays Sexy Football

A day after he was crowned FIFA World Player of the Year in Zurich with the distinction of becoming the first Premier League player to do so, Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who sweeps soccer top individual honors for 2008, is at the crossroad of his life and I’m asking where is he going from here? I’m mad for Liverpool FC but CR7 is one of my favorite footie players and for me he is one of the many who epitomes sexy football to borrow the phrase of former Chelsea, Newcastle and Feyenoord manager Ruud Gullit when he was waxing lyrical about it. There is such joy in watching CR7 plays football and I’m worried that in the past few months CR7 has forgotten to play sexy football. I know CR7 missed the start of this season because of recuperation from an injury. And we saw how he has struggled to regain his form. He has eight league goals, and the last came in November. Should we be worried? In his case, I think not. The spark that used to be so much a part of him was just dimmed but not completely missing.  Whatever hold Sir Alex Ferguson had on him that is making him the way he is now, I believed Sir Alex has something to do with it. Some of us know what the Man U manager is capable of doing in psyching up his players and other people. CR7 should have the guts to follow his dream and to break off the hold Sir Fergie has on him.

A Week in the Life of Cristiano Ronaldo and a New Blonde too

It seems it has been an unsettling week for our dear Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo as there is always something or someone who wants to play mind game with him.

Firstly, he was forced to deny again of his dream of becoming a Galacticos, no other than by himself. He has insisted over and over again that he was happy staying at Old Trafford. But Spain 20 minutos paper says that there was indeed a deal to bring CR7 to Real Madrid, the third agreement reached with his representative, Jorge Mendes, and was worth €80 million with resigned Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon. An agreement completed before the scandal over voting which saw Calderón’s demise. So maybe it is safe to say that the agreement is considered null now and that’s the reason why Sir Alex was making noise that they won’t sell CR7 even if the selling price is more than what is offered to Kaka by the funniest FC in the Premier League – Manchester City.

Secondly, his driving skill is being questioned as much as his diving skills. But CR7 insisted that he is a fairly good driver despite crashing his Ferrari. He said he has never had an accident in six years but he got unlucky and his Ferrari caught oil on the road and goodbye Ferrari.

Thirdly, his much awaited goal since November 15 happened – in a penalty. In the topsy-turvy contest against Derby County for the Carling Cup, Manchester United reached the final in a scrambled play that is so unlike the way the ManU played. But then if not for CR7 goal the game could lead to extra time and with Derby County?!!!?

What a week it was but there’s also some interesting side notes to all of this. It seems CR7 was caught with a new blonde on his arm and she doesn’t look like Alyona Haynes. The new girl? Well if seems CR7 treats all those willing girls salivating for him like underwear but then who are we to judge.

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has rediscovered his inner football tiger instinct as he scored a couple of goals when Man United demolished West Brom adding three points to their standing in the Premier League and 3 points ahead of Liverpool. Although he was back in form, CR7 says that it still hard for him to be as good as last season.

The uber confident CR7 further says that he is worth as much as Kaka and maybe more as he likens himself to a luxury car, to quote:  “It’s like cars. Some cars are better than others, that’s why they’re more expensive. It’s the same with players. But this is only my opinion.”

Meanwhile CR7 can be seen in the new Nike advertisement, a hotspot technology advertisement that allows the viewers the option to instantly purchase the products they see being advertised on screen. In the ad, you can see CR7 running around the pitch  and stripping off after the match. Buyers can click on his shirt, shorts and undergarments to buy it instantly. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Dream House

Our dear Cristiano Ronaldo is back to his old form once again as he lead Manchester United 5 points ahead of its Premier League rivals with a 1-0 win against Everton last night.  Slowly but surely , CR7 old black magic is returning back to its form that made him take all the best trophies last year. And may it continue to be so as i really feel that this will be his final season at ManU and despite protests and denials he will be a galacticos next season. And what better reason there is, well one of the reason really is that he also want to be near the dream house he is building at Santo Estevao Portugal?

The dream house, according to The Sun is  a £6.1million mansion.It is a one of a kind mansion, or “sci-fi or a high tech” whatever term that best describe it. The Sun  describe it as a “seven-bed pile on five acres has three floors connected by a ramp. Its swimming pool is half inside and half out. The glass-fronted pad has a vegetated “eco roof” and garage for five cars.”  And yes our assumption is right, the mansion will be big enough to house all his expensive cars.

Spanish Hottie Weekend

It was quite a weekend indeed when we are deluged with the mighty prowess of the Spanish hottie DNA from two continents.

Galacticos Raúl González joined Alfredo di Stefano as Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer with a second-half goal in a 2-0 victory at Numancia, with the other goal coming from Arjen Robben who is proving to be such a great partner for Raul. Raúl’s goal in the 48th minute, last Saturday, takes his goal tally to 307 in his 15th season making him the second all-time leader scorer next to Di Stefano who played for Madrid from 1953 to 1964.

In Australia, Rafael “Rafa” Nadal made Roger Federer cried when he took home the Aussie Open trophy after the five-set battle against Fed-ex. Now it can be told, Rafa is becoming a true Legend of Tennis. Already at the age of 22, he now has won grand-slam titles on three surfaces and he has exceeded The Fedex record at that age. Rafa was ever so sweet in thanking the crying Federer for the win although “he knows what he is feeling” said in that sexy heavenly accented English.

While Rafa is still high on adrenalin from his victory, he was watching fellow Spanish hottie Fernando “El Nino” Torres as he made two goals that completely erases the horrifying January from Liverpool history. It was a much deserved and needed 2-0 win against rivals Chelsea and keep Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

Berbatov’s Ex Wants Cristiano Ronaldo

Things gets better or freakier for our Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo as Playboy model Daniela Arnaut, the umm… lady whom Dimitar Berbatov has a secret (which is no longer a secret, btw) 2-year affair with said in The Sun interview that she wants to bed her ex’s Manchester United team-mate. Yes, she wants CR7 along with his fame and fortune that goes with him. She’s actually planning a trip to London and our dear CR7 will be one of her itinerary. Maybe she won’t be lost at the airport and CR7 might be there to welcome her. Awwww….

FIFA Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo has just bought himself a hotel overlooking the sea at Porto Santo, an island near his home in Madeira and estimated to be $11.6 million. Before we know it CR7 is going to own the world. Crazy, I know, but it was just a thought anyway. Slowly it’s going to be a reality as CR7; a moniker which, by the way, is already claimed and registered under the National Institute of Industrial Property in Lisbon; is going to “ronopolized” the real estate world with all his savvy real estate investments. To list a few of his properties, he already owns a £4m house in Cheshire, a villa and a flat near Lisbon, a house he bought  for Mama Dolores, two boutiques for his sister, and the recently $8.9 million sci-fi estate being built in Portugal which he termed his dream house. Wow, with all this things attached to his name, girls are going to be so crazy in pursuing him. He would be like a dazzling flame to all those girls with “dollar-signs in their eyes.” It’s a good thing Mama Dolores is going to be there overseeing her son’s “interests”.

Speaking of Mama Dolores, it seems it is her dream to see her son don the Real Madrid jersey if CR7 fellow Portugal International Pepe is to be believed.

“Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother has a dream: seeing her son play for Real Madrid. And everybody knows that mothers carry great weight,” Pepe told Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA) in an interview. Pepe is a good friend of CR7 and plays for Real Madrid.

But is CR7 going to be CR9 in the summer? A rumor has it that Cristiano Ronaldo had already reportedly registered ‘CR9′ as a trademark as he was promised the number 9 shirt by Real Madrid. Mama Dolores wants him to move to Spain and soon. And CR7, his mother, his family has made it clear that their collective dream is to see him play for Real Madrid. Let’s just wait and see.

Hey, It’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s Birthday.

It’s CR7 24th birthday yesterday, February 5 and our dear Manchester United winger admits that he loves to be hated. And fans must have felt it too because lately he was voted as the Most Hateful Man in the Premier League. CR7 said that he has come to term with this and he uses the fans animosity to his advantage. And sometimes he worry when fans don’t boo or target him because he thrives during those moments when the boo-boys are active.  He even encourage the boys to boo him so that he could surpass the 42 goals he had last year. What a contradiction he is. I mean all of us, one way or another, must care what other people think of us. You may be rich or not, but what others think always matter. CR7 said he wanted to be the best in the world but can he do that when a lot people hated him? Just asking.

In another CR7 matter, the result of the inquiry on the Ferrari crash that involved CR7  last month showed that the car had no defect. The Sun reported  that ” the brakes as well as the other safety systems worked perfectly and were in no way associated with the cause of the accident.” So if that is the case CR7 driving skills will be the one in question and will be investigated further.

Last week a picture of CR7  was taken after he has dined at the Gusto Restaurant on Alderley’s London Road. And he looked every inch the “metro-sexual” man that he is.

Fernando Torres is getting married

My favorite Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is set to marry his childhood sweetheart Olalla Dominguez and that the couple is expecting their first child. Actually, we’ve been waiting for this event to happen ever since we’ve seen this cute couple and finally it’s here. It is said that Nando plans to keep the event low key and that the wedding will take place in Santiago Compostela in Northern Spain. Liverpool teammates, Steven Gerrard and Pepe Reina to name a few, are expected to attend and I guess all his sexy and hottie Spain international mates.

Nando and Olalla has been an item for eight years and they were living together in Madrid before they moved to UK. The two have met during those summer spent at the seaside town of Estorde, Galicia, North West Spain where both family visited for summer vacations. Olalla is not your ordinary WAG as she has studied economics and is said to be working in PR firm. Nando has only good things to say for his intended bride: “She knows how to calm me down when I haven’t been able to see the way out of the tunnel or wake me up when I’ve been sleeping. She pushes me when I needed to be encouraged. The person that lives with you is sometimes the only one capable of helping you up when you don’t realize how down you are.”

Oh, isn’t he sweet? And another manifestation of his sweetness, Nando has the Roman numerals VII-VII-MMI tattoed on his left leg to mark their first kiss on July 7, 2001. Sorry girls it looks like our Liverpool ace is so keen to his future bride.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Blonde Named

Finally we have a name. Remember what i wrote about the new blonde in Cristiano Ronaldo’s life? She’s no other than Olivia Saunders, a Management and leisure student at Manchester University. The eighteen year old student seem to be an unlikely match for our deviating CR7 as for one, she is blonde and i believe that explains everything. If you could dissect CR7 lovelife you would notice that he has quite a passion for brunettes and last year alone he was linked to a bevy of brunette beauties the likes of which includes Nereida Gallardo, Luciana Abreu, Letizia Filippi and of course who could forget Alyona Haynes? With this long list of girls that comes and goes to the winger’s life it seems he’s on the lookout for something different.

The couple met at a Manchester nightclub (of course, where else could it be?) where Olivia work as a promotions girl. And CR7 has already wined and dined our uni girl which is really quite a blessing as The Daily Mail reported that Olivia is a typical struggling student.

Well’ we just look and see how long this relationship will last… Stay tuned.

Robert Pattinson Attended the Oscar… or is that Edward Cullen?

Super Hottie Robert Pattinson attended the Oscar and he cut a dashing figure so reminiscent of Edward Cullen that i thougth it was Edward Cullen who attended the Oscar. But it was all Robert Pattinson in his tuxedo with a scruff look that is so undeniably sexy and a matching Brit charm. I’m sure scream could be heard all around when he walk in the red carpet. When it was time for him to present a montage of romantic films along with Amanda Seyfried who started the spiels with a  speech along this line, “that since the beginning of the cinema, films have tried to figure several key things about love”, and at this point, Robert added, “What it is, how to get it, how to keep it and what to do when it goes incredibly wrong.” Then Rob charmed the crowd when he jokingly add, “I had to become a vampire to find it!” Nice work for his first time presentation.

My Fantasy Football XI

I’m obsessed with football and i always think that I live in the wrong continent. I should have been in Europe so that i won’t have to sleep late always if there’s a fixture going on… Yeah i wish. I hope my two imaginary boyfriends, Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo would hear my fervent wish and whisk me away from here to live in a place near them or better yet in their home. Anyhoo, if  i’m as rich as Roman Abramovich or Silvio Berlusconi and i have the means to own a football team and i am allowed to have unlimited access to players, the following are the players i want in my team. And yes, being good-looking is one of the requirements. Indulge me.

 Goalkeeper: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) – He is definitely a keeper. As a captain for Spain, he has led the team in capturing its first European Championship in 44 years! For me he is the world’s best goalkeeper and FIFA seemed to agree with me as he is currently ranked 4th in the 2008 FIFA World Player of the Year Award.

Defenders:

 Xabi Alonso (Liverpool) – A memberof my favorite team, he comes from a family of footballing prowess. His ability to pass the ball in an exhibitionist way is one of the thing i like about him. He could spot a teammate even from afar and could pass over the ball with deadly and uncanny accuracy. A member of Spain international, his highest honor to date is winning the Euro 2008 Cup.

 Philip Lahm (Bayern Munich) – a defender both for his team and country, Lahm is the bestt fullback i know and i like the way he paced, dribbled and crossed in the field despite his small stature. He could run the ball both from right and left flank. He is simply the best.

 Gyorgy Garics – (Atalanta) I saw him while he was still playing for Napoli in the Serie A against Inter and  he was good as an attacking wingback and the years to come will be good for him as evidenced by the fact that he was called up for the Vienna national team.

 Fabio Grosso (Lyon) – Who could ever forget this hunky Italian? Remember World Cup 2006? Yeah, i know. I was rooting for Germany back then after England was… never mind, i would rather forget that whole episode. But Fabio, I could never hate him after one look at his face and even if he delivered that late dramatic winning goal against Germany in the semi final i changed allegiance so fast during the final that i completely forgot i love Zizou.  And Fabio never disappointed me as he scored the winning penalty in the shootout that win Italy their trophy.

Midfielder:

 Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) – A member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), Stevie G is the man i would like to captain England in their quest to get the World Cup trophy. He is a one-man goal scoring machine and though i like seeing him played as a center midfielder, i know he could play best as a striker. And he is ever so sweet, he has inscribed his daughters name in his football boots and i heard that its his lucky pair.

 Yoann Gourcuff (Bordeaux) – I saw him play for AC Milan once alongside Kaka but the moment I noticed him was when he was playing in the France national team and since then i followed his career when he was loaned to Bordeaux and I’m proud to say that AC Milan lost was Bordeaux gain. I am positive to say that this Girondins will be the next Zizou.

 Sebastian Kehl (B. Dortmund) – He was my big time crush in the World Cup 2006. I love the way he passed the ball and the way he tackled his opponent and he was a key player and he’s proven this especially when he was made captain for his team Borussia Dortmund. And no i will not mentioned the “clothing malfunction” that made him so famous around the world…

 Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - Currently the world’s best player. His ability to dribble the ball and crossing is one the best thing i admired about him and of course his goal scoring. For me he is the definition of sexy football. I just dont like it when he dives, and he really does it a lot. He is one serial diver.

Striker:

 Fernando Torres (Liverpool) – El Nino. I always wondered why he was overlooked by the biggest team in Spain. But then La Liga’s lost is the Premier League’s gain. Liverpool’s bonafide superstar next to Steven Gerrard, Nando given precious time barring injury will make Cristiano Ronaldo trembled in his football boots in the years to come. And CR7 should take this is a warning as according to the survey, Nando is the best loved Premier League player while he was the most hated.

 Lionel Messi (Barcelona) – I am saving this best for last. Lionel Messi will be undoubtedly this year best player of the world. And i would so dearly love to see him play for the Premier League but then he fit so nicely with Barcelona that its a joy to watch La Liga again.    For me he is the only one to succeed Diego Maradona even if Atletico’s Sergio Aguero could rival him for this title, never mind that Aguero is Maradona’s son-in-law. I love the way he run across the field evading six opponents and then scoring a goal. He always does that and its never tiresome to watch it. Look out Cristiano the Messidona is out to get you.

 

Cristiano Ronaldo is Getting Richer… and Richer

Manchester United is set to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a staggering £10.4 million a year contract to tie him to ManU until 2014. Yup, back off  Real Madrid. That seems to be the message Sir Alex wants to convey to the public with this large offer to CR7. Although his current contract of £120,000 a week still has three years to run, ManU is willing to make CR7 more richer and more appealing to the ladies by giving him a new deal totalling to £200,000 a week and that would make him the highest paid player in the Premier League surpassing ManC Robinho £160,000/week deal. At least the ManU will be getting more from CR7 and he is worth the money.

In a non-related matter, CR7 serial diving in the past seem to be haunting him nowadays especially in the last two fixtures featuring the Man United. The referees are taking a hard line approach with our dear winger and he has been cautioned for it. But he has denied any diving-doing and Sir Alex, ever to the rescue, has said and admitted that CR7 was indeed prone to diving in his younger years but not now. He has matured and indeed he was but i won’t say anything about his diving ways. My lips are sealed.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s New Girl: From Student to Gym Instructor

Cristiano Ronaldo’s lovelife is such a fodder for gossip. Barely a month since we’ve heard of Olivia Saunders, it seems CR7 is getting a Brazilian all over as he is now being linked to a Brazilian named Gabriela or Gabi to her friends. Twenty Seven year old Gabi were photographed during the Portugal-Finland friendly last month where  she was invited by CR7 after meeting her (surprise, surprise…) at a club in Portugal. After that she was jetted off to merry old England to spend a week with attentive and romantic ManU winger. The fascinated CR7 is said to be in heaven over Gabi’s fit and athletic body and for now sources from the girl’s pals are saying that it is a match made in heaven. Yes, tell that to the marines if you happen to see one. As cynical as i am over CR7 choices of girls i won’t even place a bet on how long the relationship will last. Hardy vs. Hardy Is On

Houston, we have a sibling problem.

After weeks of taunting and betrayal on the part of his brother Matt Hardy, thus causing Jeff Hardy his championship belt, the Charismatic Enigma has finally agreed to fight him at Wrestlemania 25. A Brother vs. Brother Match. Wow, it has an ominous ring to it. I’m not really a fan of Matt and Jeff feuding but I have to admit I’m enjoying their verbal interaction so much and I’m in awe of how much heat Matt Hardy is generating nowadays. Matt is a friend in MySpace and the comments he was receiving is truly horrible and it only shows how effective he is as a heel. The brotherly feud is kind of different and reminiscent of the Owen and Bret Hart match as well as the Undertaker vs Kane match as it was the heel who is very keen on asking for a fight and the baby face refuses. But finally the face relented and we are in for an extreme match between the brothers. As for me, I want Jeff to win of course. No need to ask. And for the other matches especially the Shawn Michael vs. The Undertaker Match, the Taker’s undefeated streak will have to end and the 25th Wrestlemania is the time for it. Afterall the Taker has never win agains the Heartbreak Kid, ever… So on the road to Wrestlemania, let us allow ourselves to just sit back and be entertained.

Robert Pattinson New Moon Mishap

News has just reached me that Twilight Hottie Robert Pattinson was injured during the filming of Twilight sequel, New Moon. Mike Walker, a National Enquirer reporter, told that Rob was hit by by a flying piece of metal in the head.

“During filming of his upcoming flick, “The Twilight Saga:  New Moon” in Vancouver, Pattinson had just started shooting a scene when a rogue gust of violent wind tore a heavy metal sign from a post.  It shot across the location so fast no one even managed to shout a warning at Pattinson, who was just opening his mouth to emote when…WHAM!…the unguided missile smashed into the back of his head.”

Walker tells that Rob dropped and “then lay deadly still as cast and crew ran to help, sending out a radio call for an ambulance.  Finally, Pattinson – looking like he’d had the blood sucked from him – began moving feebly, disoriented, but able to speak.  The crew put ice packs on a knot sized lump, and by the time medics arrived, the star was coherent and insisting he was fine.  Taking no chances, the director canceled filming.  Pattinson was ordered back to his hotel, but returned the next day – sporting a lump.”

Thank goodness he’s alright, I just wish i was there to ice down the knot sized lump. And i can feel for the panic experienced by the people during the incident, let’s not forget what happened to Natasha Richardson who could have been saved had she received earlier treatment.

CR9 Shop in Madrid?

Everyone’s favorite wanker winker Cristiano Ronaldo has set his plans into motion. Nope, not world domination as he can hardly do that with most football fans hating him as much as the girls and the hos love him. I’m talking about the “will-be-talked-about-although-everyone-knows-it-already-and-most-expensive-transfer” to Real Madrid by our dear CR7 or should i say, for practice, CR9 . Right now the spanish media are all a-twitter when they heard that CR7 will open his next store in Madrid. Yes, that fabulous metrosexual store where CR7 wants everyone cloned like him. Is this ad indication of a summer transfer that his family so want? or he just want CR7 botique to be as visible as him? Official Rep for CR7 has quickly shot down what we’ve all been thinking all along as they said that CR7 stores will really be in places such as Milan, Paris, London, Berlin, Prague, Tokyo and Los Angeles. It just so happen that Madrid will be the third store to be opened. Darn. Quick think of Plan B already.

Yes, Plan B is the BPL Referees who will ultimately forced CR7 out of the Premier League. CR7 has grown tired of the little protection he got in the BPL as he is being”systematically fouled” by opponents. Added to the fact when he saw how the referees does it in La Liga where there is extra protection from the refs and less physical approach in the game. This could be a heaven-sent” exit that he so badly want from old Trafford.

But let’s not think a lot of that because  juicy tidbits about CR7 love saga has been reported by the tabloids. CR7 latest squeeze, Gabriela Entringer has just admitted (it’s an omen that no good will come out of the relationship) that she felt very passionate about CR7. Although the two are tight-lipped about their romance, Gabi’s father are said to be against the relationship because of the media attention she’s been getting. And this early Gabi has offer to pose for Brazil’s Playboy I hope Gabi will make her relationship with CR7 very profitable.

Eventhough Edward Cullen is half-missing in the New Moon story i noticed that all the movie hype is centered on him. Well, i dont mind really, so long as he is visible in most part…

Cristiano Ronaldo Scored a Super Goal

It was sort of anticlimactic as Manchester United winger and Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo scored a sensational goal against Porto in the CL quarter final earning them a semifinal clash against Sir Alex Ferguson fiercest rival and most hated person Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. The goal was indeed a great strike whichever way you look at it. Even CR7, upon watching the replay was wowwed himself and he said that “it was his best goal scored” and i will add ever to that. If you look at the diagram below (courtesy of dailymail.co.uk) the goal was so far out and it looks like CR7 has hit it with 64 mph.

And of course if we mentioned CR7, Real Madrid is not far behind. Real Madrid former president Ramon Calderon has made a very intriguing remark regarding soon-to-be Cr9; “Anyone who becomes president (of Real Madrid) will have at his disposal one of the best players in the world who is already formally committed  to Real. I cannot give any names, but all I can say is that thanks to the difficult and laborious work I did last year, he is already formally a Madrid player.“

Jeff Hardy Retiring?

It’s been all over the net that Jeff Hardy has not made any action in extending his contract at WWE. His contract will expire this July and it has been mentioned that Jeff was getting tired of the rigorous, and for me, an unrealistic schedule being followed by WWE. After everything that happened this year in his life it is understandable that he’s craving a change. But then its still three months until his contract ends. And i really hope and pray that he will honor the terms particularly in the first 10 days of July as the WWE House show will be in Manila, and i already bought the expensive tickets just to see him… But whatever decision he made and if it will be the best for him, i’m sure Jeff Hardy fans will be behind him and he could always come back. Right?

As of this moment, Jeff is in Europe for a series of house shows and (spoiler alert) Matt Hardy was busted open during their street fight as the continuation of Hardy vs Hardy that will culminate at Backlash.

No More Real Madrid Dreams for Cristiano Ronaldo

In what could have been a nightmarish statement from our dear Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, he said in an interview that his dream of moving to Real Madrid is maybe over. CR7 has finally admitted the fact that he will be staying at the Old Trafford far longer than he dreamed of. The “dream” transfer has become a sort of a nightmare for CR7 as everyone, from his family, friend and Calderon insist that the summer transfer will push through but CR7 quashes that expectation and empathically said that those “dreams are dead”. Or maybe CR7 is just pranking us? Well CR7 dream of playing for Real Madrid may be dead for now but there is another dream he has that he wants fulfilled and that is to own a Routemaster Bus, yup that Double-Decker Red bus that is as iconic as the Big Ben is when you think of London. It seems our Manchester United winger wants to drives around the countryside. And doting uncle that he is to his nephews and nieces, he also wants the bus for them to play in.

Although the red bus is no longer operational still the bus reminds CR7 of the time whenever he thinks of England, the red bus comes to his mind. The bus can be bought at £10,000, a peanut sum for CR7 who earns so much as the best centre forward in the football world today. So the next time you’re near Cheshire and you see a red bus coming, chances are CR7 is in the driver seat.

Yes, i know everyone knows it by now. Last sunday’s derby between Manchester United and Manchester City showcased how Cristiano Ronaldo sucks sulks. I wonder what’s the fuss all about, I mean CR7 could pout and he does it prettily too but the reaction of the audience, some of them, is open-mouthed shock. It was really entertaining. From the moment when CR7 was talking to Sir Alex Ferguson about being substituted, pleading his case to the moment he throws the tracksuit as well as that manly hissy fit on the way to the bench, whew, only CR7 could do that. But have you noticed something? It looks as if Sir Alex is afraid of “rocking the boat” and decided to ignore CR7 sulking? But whatever happened in the dressing room, we will only know about it when CR7 decides to write his autobio and that could be many years from now…

Steven Gerrard is FWA Footballer of the Year

Football Writer’s Association has bestowed the honor of Footballer of the Year award to Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. I may like Cristiano Ronaldo a lot but I’m a staunch Liverpool fan and I am proud of the honor given to Stevie G.

The FWA Footballer of the Year is an annual award given to the players who is adjudged to have been the best of the season in English football. The winner is selected by a vote amongst the 400 football journalist members based throughout England. And this year’s poll sees Steven Gerrard edging out the likes of Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney of Manchester United. He has been exceptional this year and Steven Bates, FWA Chairman was quoted saying that Gerrard  “performance this season has been of the highest quality. He is in his prime and quite rightly rated one of the finest midfield player of this generation.”

Gerrard, the first Liverpool player since John Barnes, who won in 1990 to receive such accolade will  receive his award at the FWA’s gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on May 29, a day before his birthday.

Jeff Hardy is Sweet

Kids Wish Network has issued a press release about a Jeff Hardy fan who has an illness who gets to meet Jeff Hardy complete with all the trappings every kids would wish for. Brandon Marshall from Indiana is diagnosed with biliary atresia, a disorder in which the bile duct between the liver and small intestine is either blocked or absent. This causes a build up of bile in the liver and leads to cirrhosis and eventual liver failure. Despite all this, Brandon still has time for his loves and that is, wrestling and Jeff Hardy. And this how the meet and greet happened: 

On the evening of the match, Brandon and his family were taxied to the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio in a very fancy limousine. “Oh, he loved that,” said Brandon’s mother, Jaime. “He really thought it was cool.” Once there, Brandon was escorted behind the scenes and got to sit down with his hero, Jeff Hardy. “He [Brandon] was a little shy. He was pretty much in shock.” Though he was a little on the quiet side, Brandon was more than happy to accept the signed gifts and pictures that Jeff Hardy was handing to him. While backstage with Mr. Hardy, Brandon even had the chance to meet other great names in the WWE such as Vince McMahon and R-Truth!

Following the meet-and-greet, Brandon’s excitement tripled as he watched the man he just met fight in the ring right in front of his eyes. The action was fast-paced and truly entertaining for Brandon and his family’s seats couldn’t have been any better: they were ringside!

After the matches, Brandon had yet another chance to hang out with his hero. This time, however, through all the excitement of the evening, Brandon lost his shyness and really opened up to his wrestling hero. “They just talked and talked,” said Jaime. “Jeff even took off the necklace he was wearing and gave it to Brandon.”

The day of reckoning is at hand. Manchester United vs Barcelona FC. Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi. Who will emerge as the best of the best?

A few hours from now we will be a witness to one of the most anticipated match in the Champions’ League. But the spotlight is focus mainly on CR7 and the Messidona and everyone, well mostly everyone, knows that whoever wins tonight derby will take home the 2009 Ballon D’ Or. I am sure that CR7 will hold on to his trophy and will not let that happen as the Golden Boot this year was taken from him by Chelsea’s Anelka. Well we should all blame Sir Alex Ferguson as he has substituted CR7 in one game and reserve him from the last game. Cr7 is on a roll and he could have had 3 more goals…

I just hope that in tonight’s derby CR7 will not jinxed himself again. He has been known to “lost” himself in games that matters most and tonight is one of the big game of his life. On the lighter side, CR7 gets to don an all white jersey just like what he always dreamed of wearing. And since his side is fighting La Liga’s champion, he could always imagine he’s playing with Real Madrid…

Cristiano Ronaldo was caught again with a new girl. She’s another Brazilian and she’s the sister of Chelsea player Juliano Belletti. CR7 and Luana Belletti was caught flirting in Manchester’s Lowry Hotel days before CR7 and his team Manchester United will face Barcelona FC in the Champions’ League Finals. It seems the two have met on several occasions and Juliano was said to be instrumental for the two meeting each other. The 24 year- old blonde Brazilian is in London studying Fashion and Designing. And she seem to be  heaven-sent for CR7 as she spoke both Brazilian and Portuguese and was described as a very smart girl.

Barcelona FC: Simply Brilliant

Last night Champions’ League finale at Roma was a memorable and historical night for Barcelona FC as they clinches a treble, the first in Spain side to win a European and domestic treble. Copa del Rey. Check. La Liga. Check. Champions League. Check… and Manager Pep Guardiola, who was described by the incomparable Terry Venables as as an exceptional bright lad, intelligent player and  a good manager, must be in seventh heaven right now. Pep has joined the elite group of having the honor of lifting the European Cup both as a coach as well as a player.

It was obvious that Manchester United was struggling and every move and changes of position that Sir Alex made, Barcelona was at par to make the necessary adjustment. And as for the two best player in the world who was in the field last night, it was a glaring fact that Lionel Messi has proven who was the best of the best. And Cristiano Ronaldo was a picture of Pique’d and frustration as if the events of last year never happened at all… Poor dear CR7, at least you have a new Brazilian girlfriend to concentrate in the next two months of rest.

Liverpool striker married his childhood sweetheart Olalla who is also seven months pregnant in a ceremony so secret that there’s only two guests to witness the wedding. Nando may have taken advantage of the fact that everyone would be so focus on the Champions League that he and Olalla went off and do the deed. The couple went to a small town of El Escorial north of Madrid last May 27 and got married there. The wedding may be small but it was romantic for the newlyweds who has been together for eight years. Aside form the wedding Nando has also signed a long-term contract at Liverpool thereby tying himself to the club til 2013. But don’t worry Torres’s fan, the couple may celebrate another big wedding after the birth of their child. Let’s give them this privacy.

Ohlala. Its football time-off once again and we football-fans-who-loves-football-players have two months of summer to look forward to. Months of seeing players going to the beach or taking the plunge with their longtime girlfriends or speculating as to who will transfer to this and that team. And this year is going to be glorious and fabulous, i bet. Someone worth watching this summer, is of course our dear Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

This early  CR7 can be seen gallivanting in Italy. Wanting to forget the Roma debacle, CR7 and friends went to the beach. He was spotted wearing his favorite outfit of very tight white shorts, very tight gray shorts, string of pearls, sunglasses, and the worst he was seen with is that he has pink flower tucked behind his ears. If he is here in the Philippines, tucking flowers in right ear would mean being single and very much available but i’m talking about the girls. I wonder what does it mean for a man wearing flower in his ears? Haven’t heard of any custom like that. Anyways, let’s just feast our eyes as CR7 strut the beach in his almost-naked glory.

Jeff Hardy May Stay at WWE

In the past few weeks, internet has been riffed with rumors that Jeff Hardy, the former WWE Champion, might take an indefinite leave of absence once his contract is up this summer. And rumors that the creative arms of the WWE has already been preparing for his departure after The Great American Bash pay-per-view has made the rounds. But in a recent interview with  Danny Salas’ radio show on 94.9FM in California, Jeff Hardy was made aware of the internet rumors about his leaving WWE and he was quoted saying “There is nothing concrete. We haven’t decided yet.” I’m sure Vince McMahon may be glad of hearing this tiny little ray of hope that Jeff Hardy sprouted. It has been known that Mr. McMahon has been doing all he can so that one of the main face of WWE SmackDown will stay. Well may be he should give the WWE Heavyweight belt to him on this sunday Extreme Rules PPV. Jeff, further added that we shouldn’t really believe all the crap we’ve read about him and that there is a very good chance of him re-signing with WWE. I believe you Jeff, completely. Jeff Hardy is the WWE Heavyweight Champion For 4 Minutes

In what could have been the greatest B.S. WWE has pulled off, Jeff Hardy won the WWE Heavyweight Champions Belt from Edge in an exciting and extreme Ladder match but only for 4 minutes… The following is what took place between the two WWE Superstar in a match that only them could give justice to.  Fight Game Blog says:

“Jeff Hardy vs. Edge

These guys are so over and have such good matches that they don’t have to kill themselves to have a great match here. But they killed themselves anyway.

Hardy dropped Edge on the ladder which was standing upside down and Edge took some hinges in the gut. Hardy went up a very high ladder and tipped it over towards the title (why he didn’t just set it underneath the title, I’m not sure) and hung on to the thing that holds the belt. He then had to fall down.

Hardy also hit a whisper in the wind from halfway up the very tall ladder.

They both went through a ladder and onto the floor. I don’t think the ladder broke their fall all that much.

Both up on ladders and Edge went for the spear and Hardy turned it into the twist of fate. These dudes are crazy.

Hardy pulled Edge through one of the rungs and Edge was stuck. Hardy then grabbed the belt. What a great match that was. Maybe the best I’ve seen this year. Yes, I know we had Taker and HBK at Mania. But I had a few issues with that match. They are probably one and two for me this year.

But wait, wait there’s more… And yeah i really hate CM Punk. After Jeff won the belt CM Punk’s music plays and he runs out. Punk is cashing in his title shot opportunity. The referee tells him this match is for the title. Punk picks Hardy up and hits GTS. Hardy kicks out at two! Hardy kicks out at two off a roll-up. Punk kicks Hardy in the face and lands Go to Sleep again. Cover and a three count.

Winner & new World Heavyweight Champion – CM Punk

CM Punk is so hateful right now and of course, the WWE Creatives. WTF are they thinking. Didn’t they hear the loudest cheer when Jeff finally got the belt and won it. Is that the only way for CM Punk to really win, i know he is “clean” by WWE definition of clean living but to always push him in that manner is quite disgusting. He is so not deserving of the title. I just wish that the opportunistic Edge got his title back and that would be more credible for me. Hello, wrestling may be predetermined but they should listen to what the fans really want once and for all. WWE and McMahon is so hateful…

Party Boy Cristiano Ronaldo in L.A.

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo was seen strutting his glorious self in Beverly Hills despite suffering a suspected hernia-injury after Portugal’s victory over Albania in last saturday’s World Cup Qualifier. While there, he will be awaiting results of medical test whether he will go through another surgery. This means he will not be in the Portugal squad when they face Estonia next week. And there’s also fear that he might not make it to the Manchester United pre-season training should he require surgery. Or he will not really make it to the Red Devils training ground because he will be over at Bernabeu? But since it’s a holiday for him, CR7 will be heading to Miami after his LA jaunt and who knows what will happen next?

Real Doctors To Check on Cristiano Ronaldo

Oooh. This is getting serious. Are we finally near the £75 million transfer? Cristiano Ronaldo, who by the way is in LA right now before heading off to Miami next week will be checked by doctors sent by Real Madrid to assess the hernia-related injury he’s supposedly suffering which puts him out of commission from the Portugal squad. Bummer, i thought it was just an excuse for him to go traipsing around the hottest vacation hot spot in the US. It seems that the hernia injury of CR7 is not really serious and does not require surgery as it was just a result of a 59 match season, according to El Mundo Deportivo. See, i’m right. CR7 just wanted to party and be far away for the moment since transfer talks about him is getting real as each day passes. If  The Daily Mail is to be believe, it seems there are really a pre-contract agreement for our dear CR7 and Real Madrid has to make it good before June 30. Wow if that happens, two Real players will be receiving about £200,000 a week. CR7 or CR9 and Kaka. Florentino Perez is really serious in setting up his Fantasy XI Real Madrid version. I think this delusion of grandeur on the part of Perez will backfire on him, too many good players in one team? Isn’t that like “too many cook spoiling the broth?” theory. I’m just saying.

Must be one hell of a conversation between them. Maybe Sir Alex is finally glad to see him go, what with all the tantrums and big ego’s attitude, i just want to know if there has been some boot-throwing somewhere in their past too? I know some of you ManU fans will be glad to see CR9 go and you would insist that CR9 is not Man U or vice versa but with Tevez declining the offer made by Sir Alex and seeing that the team has a lot of grandaddy players, Wayne Rooney (I hate Wayne Rooney) must be carrying all the burden. Nope, Mrs. Fernando Torres hasn’t given birth yet but the hush-detail-sex-identity of their baby has been blurted out by Nando’s former Atletico Madrid prez Enrique Cerezo much to the couple’s chagrin. But the information has slipped out and we Torres’ fans are just happy with the news. It’s a crazy world right now for our dear Galacticos (ha ha ha, what a big turn around) Cristiano Ronaldo and this craziness extends to Paris Hilton. Rumor has it that they were seen snuggling and whispering in upmarket club MyHouse, one of the LA clubs were CR9 were seen cavorting in the past few days. Maybe CR9 was quite drunk when Paris joined them because afterward he was seen leaving with Ms. Hilton, in separate cars, and they extended their snuggling session to her sister’s Nicky house. He might have sobered up because two hours later, CR9 emerged covering his face up. He must have realised what he just did. And he must have completely forgotten last year incidence of ignoring the skanky Paris Hilton. Oh the wonders of alcohol.

And what will Mama Dolores says about this? I think this time she should have accepted the fact that her son will always be a skank-magnet. Mama Dolores with CR9 sisters Katia and Elma are now in LA too to celebrate his megabucks transfer. The whole clan was said to be happy and it can be said now that CR9 has been wanting to play with Real Madrid since he was nine years old…

As of now news abound that CR9 is looking for a house in Madrid preferably in the millionaire’s suburbs of La Moraleja where David Beckham used to live when he was a galacticos. And what’s this news we’ve been hearing that CR9 will not step back to Manchester to get his things? Hmmm afraid that he won’t be able to get out, afraid of being lynched? Maybe he’s not feeling anything right now, he is in seventh heaven and he is deliriously numb to all the global resentment being directed at him. These past few days we’ve been bombarded with the U.S. antics of Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo. There’s Paris Hilton, the Club-hopping, the swarming skanks, the poolside rubdowns, but the memorable ones are those where he was spotted wearing his favorite tight  short shorts. Yes, those cringing-worthy moments where we can’t decide whether we should be appalled at his swimwear fashion sense, the body is awesome but the the swimwear – not.  But it seems CR9 sense of style has opened a new market for men’s shorts, as  Debenhams a known British department store has posted that its sale of skimpy shorts has jumped over more than a hundred percent compared to last week after photos of CR9 wearing tight skimpy shorts were splashed on the dailies. And they have CR9 to thank for this as they are a firm believer of copycat craze and that the”Cristiano Effect” will manifest worldwide. I sure hope not because ive seen the worst when Rio Ferdinand, his former ManU mates does this and it was not a sight to behold.I think that CR9 should concentrate more in donning matching belt and “man purse” that way he’s also promotingg his CR7 stores or is that going to change to CR9 as the Madrid store is about to open?

Robert Pattinson in a Yellow Cab Accident

Fans craziness over Robert Pattinson has caused him to be clipped by a New York taxicab as he tried to get away from his relentless teenage fans while filming “Remember Me”. It’s a good thing that he was not seriously hurt or else… Bodyguards of Rob were said to be snarling at fans and telling them that they almost killed him. There were lots of commotion during the big scene and many  people were greatly upset once some of them realized that it was Rob who were at the scene of the accident. You know i’m really advising all those Rob fans to be cautious in their adoration. One of these days your crazy chasing will or might kill him. We should let him enjoy his life without all this craziness…

Cristiano Ronaldo Opens Up

Now that Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo is back in his hometown in Portugal after a series of bar-hopping in LA and Las Vegas and a two-day dalliance with Paris Hilton, CR9 or CRwhatever finally admitted that he has his heart set on a Real Madrid transfer as early as the Champions League final against Chelsea last year. So basically everything we have heard and read for a whole year has a lot of truth in it and it was just Cristiano who has made a liar out of every one… But let bygones be bygones, as he has put the blame on himself and he has only good words to say about Sir Alex Ferguson and his times on Manchester United. We really cannot begrudge him of his lifelong dreams and now that everything in his Real Madrid contract has been warpped up including his image rights that for a while has cost the contract delay we can now say that the name Cristiano Ronaldo will be synonymous with M O N E Y… and everything that it entails. So girls what are you waiting for, you should devise ways on how to capture the highest paid football player, ever.

Just when i think that Yoann Gourcuff could be the perfect single footballer for me, he does the unthinkable of having a new girlfriend and not just a skanky girlfriend mind you, he has to choose the one with class that you can’t really be affronted with his choice. Oh why can’t he be like other footballer wo has bad taste? I know i can name a lot of them but i won’t. Yoann was spotted in New York having dinner with Givenchy model and daughter of former France Prime Minister Marie Steiss at a chic neighborhood in Tribeca and they were seen snuggling (what’s with the tabloid sudden preoccupation with this word?) at Macao Trading Company. Marie de Villepin a.k.a. Marie Steiss is smart, educated as she has graduated with a licence in Law in a french elite university. She also acts as she has a small role in a Quentin Tarantino film Inglorious Bastards and a few minor roles when she was a child. She currently stays in New York and that is where the French Ligue Football Player of the year currently is on vacation…

Finally Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up on another matter aside from his transfer to Real Madrid. He has now spoken on his much publicized night out with Paris Hilton.  CRwhatever has insisted that the thing with Paris Hilton was just his way of making his US break a nice one and Paris was there to provide the fun. On Paris part she also insisted that they were just friends to finally silence the persistent rumour that they are an item although there were plans for her to follow Cristiano in Madrid because she says that she loves Europe and nothing else. And this is the part of the Paris interview that CRwhatever wanted to clear, although he said that Paris is a cool girl there are no hope for them to get together as Paris lives a thousand miles away and there might not be a future relationship for them. I think Paris should take heed on this Cristiano comment as she will be no competition to all the girls that Cristiano will be availing of once he is in Madrid. So for now his 2 nights in Paris will be just a distant memory…

I don’t know what’s wrong with this WAG world but everytime i saw a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex Nereida Gallardo she’s either topless or naked. And now she’s at it again. Posing naked for a new magazine Interviu she left everything hanging out while taking potshots at her ex boyfriend who will be soon in her area of responsibility as the winger is now a galacticos. And now rumours are circulating that Mama Dolores have been pushing Cristiano to get back with Nereida now that the Paris Hilton threat is on the horizon? Well, duh. I don’t really believe any of those things but if you look at it another way, Nereida seems to be the longest girlfriend that Cristiano had on display for the public, it’s just so bad that they have broken up. Cristiano Ronaldo is Officially a Galactico

Real Madrid official website has now confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer is signed and completed now that Real Madrid and Manchester United have completed an agreement for CRwhatever transfer that will take place on July 1, 2009.  Cristiano has signed a six year deal for £80 million and what is more  astonishing is that Real Madrid will pay in one installment on the said date as pre agreed with ManU. Wow! And on July 6, CR will be presented at the Bernabeu Stadium. The moment Cristiano has been waiting all his life. And i’m asking will the forward partnership of Kaka and CRwhatever will be a formidable force? Let’s wait and see…

A Glum Cristiano Ronaldo on Holiday

Former Manchester United winger now Real Madrid football god Cristiano Ronaldo looked glum as he relaxes with his family in a mansion facing the water, in the exclusive resort of Vale Do Lobo on the Algarve Coast of South Portgual on Friday. Ooh methinks he’s missing someone. Or he’s not sampling the delights the upmarket resort has to offer. Or may be he’s having second thoughts in relocating to Spain and he was thinking about Sir Alex Ferguson. Well i would rather choose that he’s missing someone. Not particularly a certain someone but someone to enjoy the holiday with and i don’t mean his family.  If you remember, same time last year, he was frolicking the beach with Nereida Gallardo and they were so happy then. But now that CRwhatever has made his Real Madrid dreams come true, something seem to be lacking… and that is a skanky arm candy. Aah just when he thought he have everything…

Mr and Mrs. Fernando Torres is a picture perfect of happiness as they were spotted strolling with their dog in Olalla’s hometown of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Nando and Olalla will be expecting their bundle of joy in a couple of weeks. And we are definitely waiting for the Torres Tot too. Nando just got back from South Africa after Spain suffered a loss to US team. We all thought we’re going to have a preview of 2010 World Cup between Spain and Brazil. It was not just meant to be.

Team Spain were particularly a butt of jokes at the moment as some of the team brought home with them the dreaded Vuvuzuela… Yes, that noisy plastic trumpet very popular in South Africa which homebase fans used to annoy the opposition during a game. Nando brought home with him not one vuvuzuela, but two! Thank goodness Xabi Alonso refrain from buying this souvenir. But Riera cannot be swayed, he brought one too. Are they thinking of using them against Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal? Surely three vuvuzuela could bring enough damage for one season and finally we could have that cup we Liverpool fans have been waiting to have for a very long time.

Cristiano Ronaldo in Justifiable Rage

On his way to an Elton John concert with his mother Dolores Aveiro, sisters and some friends, Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo snapped as he reportedly kicked the car and smashed the car window where his “purported fan” was trying to videotaped his movements. The girl, Sara Pardal claimed that she just wanted to follow Cristiano Ronaldo because she was a fan and only wanted his photograph. But according to various reports, the girl was accompanied by a certain paparazzi, Hugo Martins who for days were already  stalking Cristiano for some newsworthy movements of the football god. Unfortunately there’s nothing scandalous to see so he changed his tactics by using the 17-year old girl and follow the winger  by videoing his movements.

The stalking movements of the girl and Martins was said to have upset Mama Dolores who was in the car with him and being the loving son that he is, Cristiano asked Pardal and Martin to stop what they’re doing but his request was denied, making Cristiano sees red and ended up kicking the car and smashing the windows thus sending shards of glass to the girl. A report was alreay filed but the police were mum over the incident.

I was just curious why the girl waited til this afternoon to file a complaint and not immediately since it has been said that there is no major harm done to her and that the paparazzi was trying to sell the videotapes to Cristiano’s management company. Clearly it has extortion written all over this selling and in the next few days the world will be a witness to a video showing Cristiano in a rage because there will be some group who buy this tape just to earn some money.

People and their greed. Really. Cristiano Ronaldo may be a public property but it doesn’t mean you could take advantage of his fame. When he asked nicely to stop pestering him because he wants his mother not to be upset, that paparazzi rat should have stop whatever he is doing. He must have done something to anger Cristiano for him to kicked the car. We may know him as petty and whiny during a football game but when it comes to his mother, he, like the rest of us, will just do anything for his Mama. Just as he quoted: “I am sorry for the gesture I made, although I could not swear that, if the same thing happens again, I will not react in the same manner, because when my mother is involved it is extremely hard for me to keep my presence of spirit.”

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo was officially unveiled hours ago as a galactico in front of  80,000 fans. The former CR7 is now CR9. Cristiano was presented Jersey No. 9 which used to be the number of Real Madrid Legend Alfredo di Stefano. And with the £80 million purchase of CR9 he is now the world’s best paid footballer with £200,ooo a week salary. (Ho-alert! Ho-alert!)  And what more he is playing for the team he has been dreaming of since he was a kid and the best league in Europe, according to him. Definitely CR9 is playing for a better pay league.

In a very emotional moment, CR9 told how happy he was to be at the Bernabeu, finally. “For me, I have made my childhood dream a reality, which was nothing less than playing for Real Madrid. I didn’t expect a jam-packed stadium – this is truly impressive.”

CR9 is set to make his debut for Real Madrid against Shamrock Rovers in Ireland on July 20 as part of the Spanish club’s pre-season tour.

Cristiano Ronaldo is Dating An Expensive Virgin

Now that our Real Madrid winger is fully ensconced in the land of  the best league in the world, he can now concentrate on another side of his life. Yes that one side that continues to amaze us aside from his footballing prowess. It seems CR9 is reportedly dating another controversial lady and this time it’s the model who was involved in a very hot auction just eight months ago. Raffaella Fico. Yes that italian model who tried to auction her virginity to the highest bidder. But it turned out to be a cheap publicity stunt that led many to believe pure Rafaella is not really that pure as she and her family wanted us to believe. But despite all that CR9 has introduced the girl to his sisters (there was no mention of Mama Dolores) and Elton John during the gig in Lisbon that turned out to be a bad day for him as he was later involved in car-smashing with a “certain fan”. CR9 has been warned by the people around him that he should be wary of Raffaella as this time “he could have finally bitten off more than he can chew” with this girl. I wonder why?

Fernando Torres is now a Proud Dad

The Torres Tot has finally arrived. Mrs. Fernando Torres, Olalla has finally given birth to their baby girl at the La Rosaleda Polyclinic Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, hometown of Olalla. It was a planned delivery since Olalla was expected to give birth on July 15, 2009. Nando has been staying with the in-laws for a week now after coming back from South Africa to await for the happy event. The Torres tot is named Nora, a greek name which means beautiful as the sun. She was delivered by Dr. Carmen Alvarez and weighed about 3.7 kilos. The La Rosaleda Polyclinic Hospital were on business as usual despite the security hired by Nando.

It was said that after birth, Baby Nora was examined by Dr. Barreiro of the Galego Pediatric Institute.

As said earlier, Nando has been staying with his parents-in-law who lives in San Lazaro. Even his parents came from Madrid to saw their granddaughter once they heard the news.

A lot of reporters expected Nando to make a statement about the birth of his first daughter, but a relative told that the couple plans to offer a general press conference within three days, when the mother is fully recovered from childbirth . Nando and Olalla were expected back in  Liverpool as soon as possible since training will soon began and he can not afford to spare more days. Congrats Nando and Olalla!

Last Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo has donned his Real Madrid training kit. And no doubt about it he looks good in white and this is the kit he’s been dreaming of wearing all his life and finally it’s real. Although there’s only a handful of galacticos stars present, CR9, in his red boots,  managed to enjoy his first pre-season training and the world now awaits his first game of the season against Shamrock Rovers on July 20 in Ireland. Will the £80 million cold cash that Real Madrid paid for him be really, really worth it? On the other hand, Sir Alex Ferguson has nothing but praises for CR9 and he has been thankful for the six years that Cristiano has contibuted to Manchester United success.He has nothing but good will to CR9 and his Real Madrid endeavour. Likewise, Cristiano is thankful to the man whom he regarded as his “father in football”. Well, all’s well that ends well. Let’s just see what will happen if Real Madrid faces Manchester United in the Cahampion’s League this year. That is a match worth watching for.

Jeff Hardy Wins Anew the WWE Heavyweight Title

Whooo. The WWE Night of Champions just wrapped up and the most exciting thing just happened. Jeff Hardy wrestled the WWW Heavyweight Title belt from CM Punk. Although there have been rumors that this event will be the last major match of Jeff before his planned hiatus, it seems we’ll be seeing more of him in the next two months. Way to go, Jeff…

CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy
Out first for tonight’s main event is the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. Out next is the challenger, Jeff Hardy, to a big pop from the Philly crowd.

We get the formal introductions for this match with Hardy’s name getting a much bigger pop than Punk’s. Punk actually get boo’d mostly. The bell rings and the crowd is chanting Hardy’s name. Punk strikes first with a big kick. More kick attempts by Punk and some taunts to Hardy. They lock up and Punk applies a headlock.

They grapple for a second before breaking it up again. Some stalling here by Punk. They lock up and another headlock by Punk, this time taking it to one knee. Punk with a shoulder off the ropes and Hardy goes down. Punk goes for GTS but Hardy slides out and goes for Twist of Fate. Punk counters but Hardy drops him with two clotheslines. Hardy with shoulders in the corner now. Roll up for 2 by Punk. Punk with another headlock on the mat now. Hardy gets to his feet and fights out of the hold. Hardy dives, Punk moves and Hardy goes rolling to the floor. Punk goes diving and ends up hitting the fan barrier head first.

2 count by Hardy now. Hardy hits a neckbreaker before climbing to the top. Punk rolls to the floor. Hardy leaps off the top to the floor but Punk moves and Hardy lands on the fan barrier. Punk gets back in the ring while the ref starts the count on Hardy. Punk starts celebrating as Hardy rolls right in at 9. Punk covers for a 2 count. Punk with knees to the back now. Another 2 count by Punk. Punk with more kicks and another 2 count. And another 2 count by Punk. Punk locks on a surfboard submission hold on Hardy. Hardy fights out of it but Punk kicks him in the ribs and keeps in control.

Punk takes Hardy to the top and they fight it out. Hardy counters and pushes Punk to the mat, they both go down. They get to their feet and Punk slaps Hardy. They trade right hands. Hardy with some forearm shots off the ropes and an inverted atomic drop. Hardy with the double leg drop and a 2 count. Hardy goes for Whisper in the Wind but Punk pushes him down from the top. Hardy gets up and Punk hits the running knee to the face in the corner. Hardy counters the bulldog and nails Whisper in the Wind for a 2 count.

Hardy drops Punk again and goes to the top. Hardy misses the Swanton Bomb as Punk moved out of the way. Punk lifts Hardy and drops him with a back breaker. Punk locks on a Dragon sleeper hold. Hardy gets up and Punk starts kicking and punching him in the head. Hardy out of nowhere hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes to the top and goes for the Swanton. Punk puts his knees up and Hardy lands on them. Punk with a 2 count. Punk jumps off the ropes and Hardy kicks him in the gut. Punk counters with the GTS. 2 count by Punk. And another 2 count by Punk. Another pin attempt, three in a row by Punk.

Punk rolls out to the floor and grabs his World Heavyweight title belt. Punk starts walking to the back as the crowd boo’s. Hardy gets up and attacks from behind, bringing Punk back to the ring. Hardy nails the Twist of Fate again and goes to the top. Hardy nails the Swanton for the pinfall and the win.

Cristiano Ronaldo Saw the Ghost of His Girlfriend Past

Nope, Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo did not saw a real ghost. But what he saw was scary enough that he has walked past through her seeing nothing. Yes, I’m talking about Nereida Gallardo. CR9, who was in Majorca in one of his short breaks, has found himself in one place with his ex-girlfriend. And luckily for him his security personnel was quick enough to avert an ugly confrontation because it was said that Nereida was hell-bent on approaching CR9 and she even insisted that she was his ex-girlfriend. I actually don’t want to write about this since this is too hysterical and embarrasing. I am so embarrassed for her. The nerve of this girl, seriously. After every maligned things she told about CR9 and making money out of her relationship with him, she has the gall to approach him because it so happened that she has a media entourage with her that night. Whew, thank goodness CR9 is gentleman enough to ignore her. CR9 should prepare himself to many a confrontations with this girl as he is now in  the same deadly circle as her with him playing for Real Madrid… and Nereida seems to want to capitalize in this situation. Ho hum, i wonder what other embarrassing things she nplans on making?

I was watching the local documentary on the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show and I fell in love with this car. I love cars and i can have them only in my dreams but this new BMW literally takes my breath away…

Yes people this is the  BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept.  According to Motorauthority.com  the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept is a sportscar in the BMW vein, with promised M-car performance levels. However, it gets there in a completely new way: with a diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain. There’s a direct-injection, 1.5-liter, 163-hp, three-cylinder turbodiesel, two electric motors (one per axle), a set of lithium-ion batteries, and a software controller that modulates and marries both powertrains to a combined total of 356 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The EfficientDynamics concept uses all three in tandem or selectively, alternately driving the rear wheels, front wheels or all four wheels depending on the need and condition. The Vision concept can whip out a 4.8-second 0-60 mph run and carry on to an electronically limited 155 mph top speed – and yet it still delivers a 63 mpg rating.

To mitigate the fuel efficiency penalty paid for power, the BMW Vision utilizes plug-in hybrid technology. This is where the Vision becomes more of a fantasy. The combination of diesel and hybrid technologies is widely viewed as cost prohibitive. Adding enough battery power to allow the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics to travel for 30 miles of all-electric drive, as BMW is promising, would send costs through the roof.

BMW also indicates that the Vision only needs a 187-pound 10.8 kWh battery to achieve the 30-mile all-electric goal. To pull that off, the Vision, according to BMW, will discharge the battery pack’s capacity by 80 percent, which is likely to significantly reduce the longevity of the battery.

The price – It would likely cost $100,000 or higher…

After three months of waiting for news between the real “relationship” or what’s-going-on-between the Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo and “virginity-for-auction” Rafaella Fico, the lovebirds were spotted together (finally!) in Madrid, Spain last October 16. CR9 was a bit ticked off as the papz finally caught on him and Rafaella. Rafaella, the latest in line of CR9 lovey doves is rumored to be introduced to Mama Dolores, and of course let’s not forget that CR9 sisters has met her already. Cristiano Ronaldo’s book “Dreams Accomplished” (Suenos Complidos), a biography on CR9 life written by Enrique Ortego, has been launched at the Bernabeau Stadium by CR9 himself. And i’m sure we wont find any tidbits about his “other life” with the girlfriends. Anyway, i hope this won’t be a bore read despite that. On the other hand, CR9 is waiting whether he will be this year’s World FIFA of the Year, a repeat of last year feat but he will be up against the Barcelona’s Triad of Xavi, Messi and Iniesta and his teammate Kaka. But we’re keeping our fingers crossed that CR9 will be a repeat winner.

In what could have been an unexpected event, Jeff Hardy, after a few months of retiring is now wrestling at TNA. Although there have been lots of internet rumors that Jeff Hardy will be at the backstage on the first TNA Monday Night, his appearance during the Asylum Match was shocking to say the least. It should be noted that last night was the first night that WWE and TNA will be vying for viewership of wrestling fans. Who do you think will win the rating? It’s hard to say at this point but what i’m thinking right now is that it looks like TNA really wants to go head to head with Monday Night Raw. And now it can be told, it seems that Jeff Hardy will not be able to go back at WWE even if he wants to, according to Bleacher Report  “According to Matt Hardy on the Hardy Show, Jeff failed a drug test about two weeks before he and CM Punk had their match at Summerslam, which gave Jeff his third strike in the WWE. The WWE didn’t release Hardy at the time because he was going to be leaving anyway, so there was no reason to do so.

For those of you who don’t know, if one has their third strike in the WWE you must be released from the company and stay unemployeed by them for at least 1 year according to the WWE’s Wellness Policy.

To put it in a nutshell, once he signed back with the WWE he’d be released because of the Wellness Policy rules. Three strikes you’re out, of course.”

When i first heard that Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo will have his very own statue to be erected by his sponsor Nike, i thought it was going to be “greekified” or made into the likeness of those greek god statues. Twilight Graphic Novel Volume 1 is now available

Finally the much awaited Twilight Graphic Novel Volume 1 is now available. Culled in the mind of South Korean artist Young Kim who also worked side by side with Stephenie Meyer, we, Twilighters will be able to see some of the missing scenes in the first novel which Stephenie Meyer specifically included in the graphic novel. And no, this was not based on the film so we wont see the likeness of Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart, instead we will see the characters in the eyes of Young Kim and based from how excited Stephenie Meyer is, we are in for a delightful read and something to while away the time while we’re all waiting for Eclipse the movie.

And another first for the Twilight Empire, the graphic novel was printed in 350,000 copies for its first printing and is believed to be the biggest for any graphic novel in the U.S. market. Because of the original Twilight novel’s length, the graphic novel will be published in two volumes. No date has been announced for the second. Nor is there any word on whether the last three books in the series will be adapted to the format.

Twilight News: Movie Companion and a Novella

The month of June is going to be Twilight Month what will all the exciting events happening that month. First on the list is the release of a novella, an Eclipse novella in particular because its supposed to be an outtake from the third Twilight saga novel, it is entitled “The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella. To be honest i can’t remember anything about Bree because i’m so focused on the story of Bella, Edward and Jacob but i guess this Bree is important enough to Stephenie Meyer to warrant another novella for this character…

And the day before Twilight Saga: Eclipse hit the theaters, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse The Illustrated Movie Companion” will be available to all Twifans out there, another collectible for us while we are all waiting for “The Twilight Saga” The Official Guide” to be released on December 30, 2010, finally after all that long wait… Please let it be true.

Of course come June 30, 2010, we Twilighters out there will be waiting in line to watch Eclipse…

We’ve been hearing rumors that the actors playing The Cullens have been holding out for a bigger paycheck for the Breaking Dawn movie and i was kind of sad when i read about it. I love all of them and it wouldn’t be fair to us Twilighters for Summit to find others to reprise The Cullens, just what they did to the Victoria character. But here’s the good news, Peter Facinnelli, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Elisabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed have signed on to appear in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. We should all be thankful.

Summit Entertainment recently announced that the director for Breaking Dawn will be Bill Condon. The script is being written by Melissa Rosenberg, who also adapted the previous 3 scripts from the novels by Stephenie Meyer. The release date for Breaking Dawn is November 18, 2011. That is so far away, thank goodness Eclipse is on June 30, 2010 and we have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to watch too…

Lately we’ve been hearing about sinkholes in Guatemala, at first i don’t know what sinkholes are but when i saw the pictures of the ones in Guatemala i was so scared and in my imaginative mind, may be it could happen to our country too. Can you imagine the earth opening right before your very eyes and swallowing the whole area?

The sinkholes in Guatemala, according to the Nat Geo, has been forming for weeks or even years before the floodwaters caused by the tropical storms make the soil caved in. Apparently, the earth’s surface has the tendency to give way and one of the causes is geological erosion and the scary part is sinkholes might still get bigger. Wow it could really get bigger than that. Imagine the sinkhole in the movie 300…

The famous Esposas y novias (WAG Spain version) of Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas, FHM US sexiest reporter Sara Carbonero is being maligned left and right by the Spanish media and Spain’s fans as well for causing a distraction to dear IKER and for costing Spain a loss to Switzerland in last night World Cup game… Well duh. Much has been speculated over the sudden fatherhood of Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo but immediate family has confirmed that the birth of his son has brought so much joy to the most famous footballer in the world. Sister Katia further confirmed that the baby, born to an unnamed American mother, has dark hair and dark eyes so very like his father. It was also confirmed that the baby was born on June 17, 2010 and contrary to reports that Mama Dolores and CR9 sister has been preparing papers for the arrival of the baby, the baby is already in Portugal and currently staying in the villa in Algarve where the proud father can be found nowadays.

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in the US, leaving his barely a month-old son in the care of his mother and sisters, and will be in New York then off to Miami for two weeks. He arrived on July 3 and does not waste any time in hooking up with lingerie model girlfriend Irina Shayk. The two were spotted having lunch at the hip Italian restaurant Da Silvano with friends. Why make an effort of showing they were not together and waited a little time before following Irina in the vehicle? I so not get it, everyone knows they are T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R!!!

He was also spotted during the Fourth of July holiday having a swim at the members-only exclusive SoHo club. And the glaring photo showed that his toenails are painted in black! I know the reason why he suddenly turns emo… See Why?

And the next day, he immersed himself in retail therapy as he went shopping, alone, for Gucci and Prada.

Afterwards he went to Mr. Chow with Irina and the gang for dinner.

Whew, its only been four days and yet CR9 has been cramming all his social activities in so little time. So when does he finds the time to arrange a 10 million dollar pay off with his baby surrogate mom?

Up to this moment, i still can’t fathom why would CR9 hire a surrogate mom? I mean its so much more romantic if he had a fling, gotten somebody pregnant, and the girl being an altruistic one and so not like all the skank that he was involved with, who cannot wait to tell the world that they’ve been with Cristiano Ronaldo, decided to keep the pregnancy a secret. Then suddenly she realized what a great opportunity this is and gave the baby up and then gave him full custody in exchange for cold hard cash. Not so altruistic after all.

I mean Why? Does CR9 fully realizes that girls who were attracted to him were not mother-material and have questionable DNAs? I hope that soon, he will shed some light on this matter and eventually end all this speculations…

Two Cristiano Ronaldo in one lifetime, how modest of CR9… Katia also insisted that they never know who CR2′s mom is and declined to comment whether CR9 paid for a surrogate to have a son. So basically, when CR9 announced via his Facebook that he has a son, he was already in the US and CR2 in Algarve with Grandma Dolores and Aunts. And almost most of the time, you have to read between the lines because clearly what they’re doing is just interpreting the body language and the subject expression and then add more to sensationalize the stories… Well, anyway most of them are fun read in their ridiculousness and hilarity.

Yes, i’m back. I have to catch up on my sleep and the 2010 World Cup has made a mess of my sleeping pattern, mainly because i live on the wrong continent and i have to wake up each game day at an ungodly hour of 2 AM just to watch it. Thank goodness it only happens every four years. Congrats to Spain again. Woohoo…

And now for the latest on Cristiano Ronaldo, i thought by now the tabloids has already unearthed the identity of Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr. birth mother but all i found in the news is that a waitress was the culprit, someone he saw in a restaurant but if you look at the time line it was so off, CR2 should have been three months old by now. I know its kind of romantic if it happened that way… CR9 seeing the waitress and they have a one-night-stand, and the girl found out she’s pregnant, she contacted CR9 agent because she don’t know where to contact him, they have a DNA test to prove CR9 paternity and then bought the girl’s silence by millions of dollars and presto CR9 is now a Dad and has exclusivity as a father. I know i should believe that, but i don’t think there are still girls out there who can keep quiet that they have a one-night-stand with CR9 and it resulted to a baby!!!

So we’re really back to the surrogate-issue. I now think there’s nothing wrong with that. He wants to be a father, so he hired a surrogate. After all he has his mother and sisters to take care of CR2 and he can still gallivant and take a vacation even if he has a baby. In the meantime he will just wait for the baby to grow up and when he is old enough to kick a ball then he can spend time with CR2. Jnr can learn two things at once, he can kick the ball and when he falls, that’s where you learn diving the “Ronaldo’s Way”…

I was so disappointed that i don’t have my camera with me and i know that my mobile camera won’t be enough to capture the essence of the supercar so i just console myself by touching it.

Wow, i can’t describe the feeling while i was checking out the car. The design, the spectacular transmission (it’s a 7-speed double-clutch automatic!) and the door… The door alone could make you wish you were driving it with both doors open and it looks like it was flashing a victory sign as it points toward the sky. I giggled like a child when i played with the door by closing and opening it. I noticed that a handle pops out of the door when you unlocked it. A rep who was there explained to me that it has 563 horsepower and the 479 pound-feet of torque will thrust the speed from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. And he points out that you cant really drive the car with the doors opened. What a pity, i thinks it is its best feature. Anyway i can only wish for this car as its cost more than 9 million in Philippine money or $200,000… I wish i could drive it…

Missing Person Report: Carole Day – Please Help

The following update was posted on Facebook by Carole Day’s 24-year-old son Jai, who is currently in the Philippines to search for his mom.
He is calling for media/awareness to help find Carole Day, a British national based in Hong Kong, who has been missing since September 12, 2010.

Carole flew to Manila and Cebu frequently for business several times a month. Engaged in the business of furniture and interior decoration, she uses a showroom at the LRI Design Studio at 210 Nicanor Garcia Street, Bel-Air II, Makati.

According to Jay, “she has done business in Cebu in the past but had a falling out over quality of goods.”

She would not have gone more than a day without calling to check in.
She left her 2 sons at home.

FULL TIMELINE SO FAR:
Friday, 10th September
Jai dropped Carole at HKG airport for her 10.40am flight to Manila on Cebu pacific (flight no. 5j 111) on the 10th of September 2010.
She arrived in Manilla and met her business partner at the LRI showroom at around 4 pm.

At around the same time Carole called her friend’s house at which she was planning on staying in Phuket speaking to the Housekeeper to inform them of her intended arrival the next day (Sept 11th) at 3pm.
Carole and business partners worked and then had some beers (purchased from the local petrol station but consumed at the studio) in the early evening.

Business partner dropped Carole off at the Corporate inn at 7pm.
Carole realized she had forgotten her jacket at the showroom and informs Tschai via text message.

Saturday, 11th September
Carole calls the residence of friend in Phuket again to inform of her delayed arrival. She again speaks to the housekeeper. She now plans to arrive in Phuket on Sept 12th at 5pm.
2/3 pm—Business partner arrives at Corporate Inn with Carole’s jacket. Remains for one hour and leaves.

Sunday, 12th September
Carole checks out of the Corporate Inn hotel at 7.30am and proceeds to board a street taxi (not a hotel taxi). She arrives at LRI showroom at 8.30/8.45am. Business partners are already there.
Carole begins unpacking two bags (large, square, chequered plastic bags) full of small items and pricing them.
9.30/9.40am – Business partners leave. Carole remains still unpacking/pricing items.
This is the last known point of contact.

When the business partners left she was roughly half way through unpacking. Estimated guess as to completion time is 1030-11.30am.
They left to work on the design of a matellic ‘leaf’ that she was producing for the Regal hotel HK.

As they leave she tells them that she plans to fly to Cebu and Phuket. She did not clarify in what order.

Monday, 13th September
Business partner arrives at showroom. Showroom manager is also present. All items from the bags have been neatly stacked, lights have been turned off in the showroom and the door has been locked. No sign of struggle.

Last contact
She was last seen at the LRI design studio by her business partner at 9.30am on the 12th of September.
When he left she told him she was going to Cebu and Thailand. It is not certain in which order, but he believes that the intention was to head to Cebu first.

Immigration statusAccording to Filipino immigration Carole has not left the Philippines, but they are unable to check internal flights (so she could be anywhere in the Philippines—Manila or Cebu).

Jai is going to the head offices of PAL and Cebu pacific (followed by every smaller airline that flies Manila-Cebu) to recover flight manifests. Will post details asap.

I was reading earlier about Memento Mori and i just thought how lucky we are to live in this time where our every movement can be snapped and taken thru photograph especially with the advent of digital photography. But did you know that during the Victorian era, many people can only have their photos taken when they are dead? It seems that during that period, death photos are very popular especially for those who cannot afford to commission their own portrait. This creepy tradition of taking picture of dead people, in case of infant and children, are popular. So the next time you see photograph from that era, be aware that one of them in the picture might be dead.

So what is Memento Mori. It is a Latin phrase translated as “Remember your mortality”, “Remember you must die” or “Remember you will die” – literally ” [in the future] remember to die”.

The wait is certainly excruciating but 10 more days to go and finally we’ll be able to watch the first installment of the last Harry Potter books. We all know what’s gonna happen in the movie but to see the movie adaptation is worth the wait. It’s been more than 10 years since i first know about Harry Potter and Hogwarts and i can still remember the excitement and the agony of waiting for each books and right now i’m so jealous of the people who are just starting to read the Harry Potter series. 3D Porn: Is this scary?

I love IMAX 3D especially if its a movie i want to watch and a 3D of it would be spectacular. But a 3D Porn? Yes, i’m afraid it has come to fruition and it’s only a matter of time that such genre would capitalize on this movie technology.

The World’s first eye-popping 3D porn flick ’3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy’, will be released in May 2011. This 3D pornographic film has a plot based loosely on a Chinese classic erotic story called The Carnal Prayer and it is also a reworking of 1991 Hong Kong cult movie “Sex and Zen”. Stephen Shiu and a group of Hong Kong film producers are racing to be the first to produce this World’s First 3D porn flick.

But the Americans doesn’t want to be left behind, already, other major 3-D erotic movies are also in the works. Adult entertainment firm Hustler is rumored to be working on a 3-D adult spoof of the blue aliens in “Avatar,” (James Cameron must be cringing by now) and Italian director Tinto Brass plans to film an IMAX 3-D version of his classic 1979 erotic film “Caligula”.

As far as i’m concerned this medium is a big “eew-factor”. Who would want to watch a 3D porn in an IMAX theatre, with other movie-goers (excited and panting moviegoers) around you? Isn’t the reason why porn is a vice is because you want to do it in private? And do you really want that “thing” 3ditized in your face? Come on, only the pervert would agree to this. And i for one, wouldn’t want to seat in those seats occupied by the people who would watch this porn flick. Imagine the mess. And those 3d glasses must be glued on and should be disposable.

I Dreamt of Paris – Part 1

I have only been to one country in Europe and though I love Germany at first sight, my life-long dream of going to Paris will always be in my blood until such time that i will step off the plane and only when my foot touches the Charles de Gaulle airport will i be able to be free of my Paris-induced fantasy.

So where do you think will i go once i’m in Paris? I can almost imagine myself Carrie-Bradshaw-like as i walked the cobbled-stone street of my dream city…

My cravings for Paris is like my cravings for a Laduree Macarons. Last week, there was an episode of Gossip Girl where my favorite bitch-heiress Blair Waldorf is eating macarons while in a bath and another where she stuffed her bag with a macarons! And it makes me to think of Paris…

And only a Laduree Macarons will do for me…

I love arts and i wouldn’t miss a day or however long it will take me to explore The Louvre but i wouldn’t mind spending a lot of time there. And i would want to see the pyramid made famous by Dan Brown and see if there really is something there…

Next to fireworks, another thing i love is fountains. I feel calm and peaceful whenever i see one and i wouldn’t miss going to Stravinsky Fountain. This is a one of a kind fountain because it consists of sixteen separate sculptures inspired by Stravinsky’s music.

I love Louis Vuitton like any other girls and eventhough i will not be buying anything, just browse, i still want to go to Louis Vuitton in Paris…

I may not know Jim Morrison in my lifetime because he died at a young age of 27 but i love his music and his poems and call me crazy or what but I always wanted to see the famous graveyard in the world, the Pere Lechaise Cemetery and Jim Morrison grave is there.

Noticed the line below his birth and death year, Δαίμων εαυτού” means the protector deity that lived inside the man from the birth till the death and took care of the personal evolution and prosperity, something like a guardian angel. So the “κατά τον δαίμονα εαυτού” basically means “according to what conscience suggests being right”. Isn’t it ironic, Morrison’s conscience might have suggest that suicide is right!

I have always been intrigued by Nicholas Flamel even before I’ve read about him in Harry Potter. The idea of immortality fascinates me and when a friend of mine told me that Flamel’s house in Paris still exist, can you imagine my excitement. I am so going to visit and stay at his house.

This house, which is now nearly six hundred years old, is also the oldest house in Paris, and a historic monument. Flamel lived here with his wife, Pernelle, and provided free lodging for the poor in exchange for a daily prayer as Flamel was a pious Catholic. And you can still stay in this house for free, poor or not. There’s a great deal of mystery, legend, and history surrounding Flamel. And some even think he and his wife are still alive …

Of course, what is Paris without the Eiffel Tower. And surely this is a grand sight especially during night time.

Although Nando missed the match, he was doubly happy as he saw his son for the first time and Liverpool won against Aston Villa 3 Nil.

60 Ways To Make Life Simple Again

I love Marc and Angel Hack Life and one of their productive list is such an eye-opener that i hope they don’t mind that i stole this article:

When we were young life was easier, right?  I know sometimes it seems that way.  But the truth is life still is easy.  It always will be.  The only difference is we’re older, and the older we get, the more we complicate things for ourselves.

You see, when we were young we saw the world through simple, hopeful eyes.  We knew what we wanted and we had no biases or concealed agendas.  We liked people who smiled.  We avoided people who frowned.  We ate when we were hungry, drank when we were thirsty, and slept when we were tired.

As we grew older our minds became gradually disillusioned by negative external influences.  At some point we began to hesitate and question our instincts.  When a new obstacle or growing pain arose, we stumbled and a fell down.  This happened several times.  Eventually we decided we didn’t want to fall again, but rather than solving the problem that caused us to fall, we avoided it all together.

As a result, we ate comfort food and drank alcohol to numb our wounds and fill our voids.  We worked late nights on purpose to avoid unresolved conflicts at home.  We started holding grudges, playing mind games, and subtly deceiving others and ourselves to get ahead.  And when it didn’t work out, we lived above our means, bought things we didn’t need, and ate and drank some more just to make ourselves feel better again.

Over the course of time, we made our lives more and more difficult, and we started losing touch with who we really are and what we really need.

So let’s get back to the basics, shall we?  Let’s make things simple again.  It’s easy.  Here are 60 ways to do just that:

1. Don’t try to read other people’s minds.  Don’t make other people try to read yours.  Communicate.
2. Be polite, but don’t try to be friends with everyone around you.  Instead, spend time nurturing your relationships with the people who matter most to you.
3. Your health is your life, keep up with it.  Get an annual physical check-up.
4. Live below your means.  Don’t buy stuff you don’t need.  Always sleep on big purchases.  Create a budget and savings plan and stick to both of them.
5. Get enough sleep every night.  An exhausted mind is rarely productive.
6. Get up 30 minutes earlier so you don’t have to rush around like a mad man.  That 30 minutes will help you avoid speeding tickets, tardiness, and other unnecessary headaches.
7. Get off your high horse, talk it out, shake hands or hug, and move on.
8. Don’t waste your time on jealously.  The only person you’re competing against is yourself.
9. Surround yourself with people who fill your gaps.  Let them do the stuff they’re better at so you can do the stuff you’re better at.
10. Organize your living space and working space.
11. Get rid of stuff you don’t use.
12. Ask someone if you aren’t sure.
13. Spend a little time now learning a time-saving trick or shortcut that you can use over and over again in the future.
14. Don’t try to please everyone.  Just do what you know is right.
15. Don’t drink alcohol or consume recreational drugs when you’re mad or sad.  Take a jog instead.
16. Be sure to pay your bills on time.
17. Fill up your gas tank on the way home, not in the morning when you’re in a hurry.
18. Use technology to automate tasks.
19. Handle important two-minute tasks immediately.
20. Relocate closer to your place of employment.
21. Don’t steal.
22. Always be honest with yourself and others.
23. Say “I love you” to your loved ones as often as possible.
24. Single-task.  Do one thing at a time and give it all you got.
25. Finish one project before you start another.
26. Be yourself.
27. When traveling, pack light.  Don’t bring it unless you absolutely must.
28. Clean up after yourself.  Don’t put it off until later.
29. Learn to cook, and cook.
30. Make a weekly (healthy) menu, and shop for only the items you need.
31. Consider buying and cooking food in bulk.  If you make a large portion of something on Sunday, you can eat leftovers several times during the week without spending more time cooking.
32. Stay out of other people’s drama.  And don’t needlessly create your own.
33. Buy things with cash.
34. Maintain your car, home, and other personal belongings you rely on.
35. Smile often, even to complete strangers.
36. If you hate doing it, stop it.
37. Treat everyone with the same level of respect you would give to your grandfather and the same level of patience you would have with your baby brother.
38. Apologize when you should.
39. Write things down.
40. Be curious.  Don’t be scared to learn something new.
41. Explore new ideas and opportunities often.
42. Don’t be shy.  Network with people.  Meet new people.
43. Don’t worry too much about what other people think about you.
44. Spend time with nice people who are smart, driven, and likeminded.
45. Don’t text and drive.  Don’t drink and drive.

48. Exercise every day.  Simply take a long, relaxing walk.
49. Let go of things you can’t change.  Concentrate on things you can.

52. Follow your heart.  Don’t waste your life fulfilling someone else’s dreams and desires.
53. Set priorities for yourself and act accordingly.

55. However good or bad a situation is now, it will change.  Accept this simple fact.
56. Excel at what you do.  Otherwise you’ll just frustrate yourself.

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo controversial ex-grilfriend Nereida Gallardo might have been right all along when she revealed last August 2010 in an interview that the mother of CR Jnr is a British student who contacted her via Facebook when the student learned she was pregnant by CR7 in a one-night stand and she wants to know how he can be reached. But everyone has taken for granted what she revealed.

Now in the latest development, CR7 is facing a showdown with the mystery mother as it has been rumored that CR Jnr mom wants access to her baby and that the “exclusive guardianship” she has given CR7 over an undisclosed amount of money, which other say is £10million, is a bitter decision she has now obviously regrets. Maybe she realized that she could earn more if the baby is with her. On her part, the mystery mother “feels like she has sold her soul. She has this millionaire lifestyle but can never tell her friends and family the truth about what has happened and that makes her feel incredibly lonely.”

Aaww, she should have realized that sooner…

And believe it or not, it is not only his store and merchandises that has his name stamped on it but also places in his home, i.e.; marble table top, entrance to bedroom, pillow cushions and even his sofa is shaped into letter C. Moreover he has added a children’s room even though we don’t see Junior living with him, otherwise the little one might cramp his style…

Traitorres!

There’s not enough comfort words in the world right now to make me feel not so betrayed at the decision of Fernando Torres to move to Chelsea FC. That is why i let 24 hours passed before i make any comment  or else i will be like a lot of Liverpudlians, whom over the weekend, has been under so much anxiety when news of El Nino’s mega transfer was first bandied about, that every words you can likened to a traitor has been hurled at Traitorres Torres. Will he or will he not do it? On my part, i always believed that El Nino is loyal to the Kops but i have my doubts. In the end all my denials of his transfer has turned into acceptance and we cannot really blame him. Its a good thing i like him more a lot as Fernando Torres the person and not Fernando Torres, Liverpool’s #9. To be completely honest about it, Xabi Alonso’s transfer to Real Madrid hurt me more than the Torres transfer saga because until now i still cant fathom why Liverpool let go of him in the first place. Just to be clear about it, i hope i will not hear Torres saying that he always wanted to play for Chelsea, etc. Because it will be a big lie. I hope his decision will not backfire on him, the way i see it Chelsea will never be able to win the Premiership this year and i hope he won’t be injury-prone!

The Azkals Wows Pinoys Anew

It is very heartening to see that Pinoys are going crazy over football. Thank goodness we have the Azkals. And just yesterday they were featured front-page at Fifa website, ahead of today’s matches for the AFC Qualifying matches against Mongolia. And yes we won the first round today! 2-0. “Chiefly” and Adorable Phil made the goals as fans goes wild inside the jampacked Panaad Stadium in Bacolod. Now, i really wish someone will build a football stadium in the metro so we could host  a game anytime. Wouldn’t that be a dream?

And Neil Etheridge cleansheet in today’s match was also reported by his team Fulham in their website…

Should the Philippine Azkals wins again over Mongolia in the second leg this March, this time, Mongolia will be the host, the Azkals will compete against Myanmar, Palestine and Bangladesh in the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup between the 20th and 31st Match 2011.
